"Dr Ocampo is the kind of doctor for patients more concerned about the highest quality of their health care than their TV show. She was referred to me by another high caliber doctor in the region. And he was right. From the first time I saw Dr Ocampo and all through the many and various issues I had and have, she has continually demonstrated impeccable competence in the breadth of her listening, exploration, diagnosing, and “bed side manner.” She isn’t out to waste your time. If she is ordering tests to diagnose, she doesn’t allot 15 minutes for test #1 telling you to come back for another 15-minute appointment for test #2, so on and so forth. She does the whole battery of tests at once, wherein possible. This has saved me a great deal of travel, time and office visits. I am overwhelmingly satisfied with her care and trust her with all aspects of my and loved one's health. She knows who the superior affiliates are and does not hesitate to refer me when their specialty is better suited to my problems. I believe excellent doctors are worth the wait to see them. That is because I know the excellent care I receive is the same excellent care each patient prior to me is receiving. I am pleased she doesn’t subscribe to the philosophy of, only give a patient 15 minutes. You can’t schedule compassion. She gives what is necessary for all aspects of superior care. I recommend Dr Carolina Ocampo. She’s worth it."

"Dr Ocampo is one of the BEST doctors in our area. There is a reason she has so many patients and I always think of that when I call for an appointment or wait in the waiting room. It’s like a wonderful restaurant where it’s always busy. My family and I owe her a lot. My brother referred me to Dr Ocampo years ago. She saved my life when I was on vacation and contracted a bacterial infection, a 104 fever and was delirious. I had never been so scared. She was there for me, available 24/7 and i am forever thankful. This was how I was introduced to Dr O. Some of these reviews mention wait time. Honestly, the wait time varies. Dr Ocampo gives each patient the time they need and she works hard to balance the needs of all patients. If a doctor is doing that right there is no way to guarantee wait times unless there is a compromise on the other end of quality. I’d much rather wait a little longer to know that the doctor will give me the care and time I need vs a doctor who is just trying to churn out patients quickly. I find Dr Ocampo to be current on advances in medicine and she explains things well. She also reviews the pros and cons of approaches. I’d consider myself a tough reviewer and have never had a bad experience. This is over a 10 year period. I am thankful that we have someone like Dr Ocampo in our community. She could easily go work in Chicago or Indianapolis but elects to live, work and give back to our community in Northwest Indiana. She is a 5 star, top doctor. You wont be disappointed."
