Grand Prize Cars

"I bought a 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis here back in April or May. Norman was great, he was very professional and down to earth person. And before you read the rest, I probably would buy another car from here Now the vehicle I brought was a very clean Texas car, probably couldn't find another one this rust free this far north. Now Norman did tell me he has his mechanic friend inspect the vehicle before he sells them and fixes some issues. Now he did says he changed the thermostat and housing which was true because I could clearly see it was new. Now here are the cons of my experience and all happened after purchase: -They used the wrong coolant when they changed the thermostat -car needed upper and lower front control arms immediately after purchase -Had an airbag light come on for a seat belt pre tensioner(I feel this one was hidden purposely if I'm being honest) -intake manifold was leaking and had a spark plug hole full of coolant. -claimed the car had heated seats but they didn't work. -vehicle had alot of relatively minor wiring issues(he probably didn't know about this) Overall it was a good experience at purchase but don't be surprised if you gotta dump quite a bit of money into the vehicle you purchase. I'd buy from here again"

Honestly, when I arrived I was extreamly happy.. were their a few flaws ofcorse, its a 27 year old car and I found a few i didnt see until i got home and went through it. "This place had a ‘69 Camaro listed online that I had seen for the last few months. Finally we took the trip up here to look at it along with another one in IL. When I showed up, I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t expect much out of the car, just due to my last experiences with Camaros. I looked all over the car and couldn’t find much of anything wrong. Actually much less than I was expecting from a 53 year old car…the amount of defects were so small I had a hard time believing what I was seeing. Then Norman offered to get the car up on a lift and I had even more of a hard time believing what I was seeing. The previous owner went through all the details (to my expectation levels) and nailed it. Here’s the real surprise. Car salesmen usually get grouped into an unfavorable category no one wants to deal with outside of necessity. Norman, is not that typical salesman. If you ask him a question, he’ll answer it. If he doesn’t know, he’ll tell you he doesn’t know. He keeps to the facts and engages in conversation rather than trying to employ sales tactics on you. Best of all, he actually spoke with my wife, in real conversation, and treated her like a person. Every time we go somewhere, my wife is usually ignored. Not with Norman, he treated her with dignity and respect. Thank you, Norman…we appreciate it and we’re enjoying the car! I think I’ve already put over 150 miles on it and it’s only been home 2 days."
