"They reached out to me for an interview regarding one of their teaching positions. I interviewed with their principal. We had a good conversation. She requested that I come in and meet with her and the assistant principal to discuss the teaching position further. I agreed. I never heard back from her regarding a day/time to meet with both of them. I have no problems with Epic not wanting to hire me. My issue is honesty. If you don't want me, don't lie to me by telling me that you want to meet with me and then disappear. That's not professional at all. I now see why so many people complain about Epic."

"Please do not send your child here, ever since 2019 this school has gone downhill. Most of the staff here had left and the teachers that start working here usually leave after the first year. please dont let your child go here. take them to a better school. I am in my senior year and I cant wait to leave. this school is at its worst currently."

"Imma rate it a 3 because up to my junior everything was cool and I loved well still love some of the staff members and teachers that did work there or still work there. However, senior year was HORRIBLE. Like yall I was almost removed from a school I've been at for 4yrs because of a new teacher, who got in my face and disrespected me MORE THAN ONCE without a single consequence. Also, not gon lie every since we had got a new administration that didn't inform us on anything and when they didn't give my Good sis Jess that AP job ik it was gon go down hill from there. Epic once definitely was a good school where they actually cared for the students and made sure they were safe; and gave us the education and offered chances for multiple opportunities. However, it just doesn't seem that way anymore, which is very sad. A lot of unprofessional things happened. For example, we had an amazing teacher get fired in front of students even though we had finals in a couple of days. Senior year definitely messed up my mental health and I was told not to confind in teachers I was comfortable with. Honestly I was so depressed senior year that if the quarantine didn't happen I would've lost my mind completely. I didn't feel safe anymore and it definitely didn't feel like a family anymore, which is what Epic always felt like to me."

"I am the grandmother of a student attending Epic Academy. A very disturbing incidence happened on 3/19/19 when the school had visitors (donors) visited Epic. The Principal gave instructions to her staff to corral all students, approximately 200 who have had a conflict this year, into a small yellow room so they could not participate in the program for the Donors. All the students whether they were victims or not were ALL in the same room! My granddaughter was viciously attached & pushed down the stairs (had to go to the ER for head trauma)by a student who was also corralled in this small room, that would be overcrowded with a regular class size. It should also be noted that these corralled students were allow to use their phones! AN ENTIRE PRODUCTIVE SCHOOL DAY LOSSED ,due to this Principal wanting to impress her Billionaire Donors. The Principal was questioned regarding this bad decision and she could not give a coherent, reasonable explanation. Our student was taken home with the assurance an absence would not be entered and due to the unsafe environment. This is only one of many brow raising incidences my family have personally encountered. I worry EVERY hour for my loved one to be inside this school! This complaint will not end here!"
