First Savings Bank of Hegewisch

"I had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a bank. There are not restrooms for the customers to use. Everyone at this bank was so rude. I have never experienced a “poor banking experience” until today when I had the displeasure of entering this facility. The receptionist Ella, Zella or whatever her name is was the absolute worst. I had the most unpleasant interactions with her every time I spoke with her. She needs to be trained in how to be in customer service. Unfortunately if you work with the public you need to be able to handle situations. The only competent person I would actually work with again was Patricia. She was amazing! Everything else was a no from me. Don’t walk RUN from here."

"Trash bank!! DO NOT BANK WITH THEM. THEY HOLD YOUR TRANSACTIONS. YOU WILL GO TO SLEEP WITH MONEY IN YOUR ACCOUNT THEN WAKE UP IN THE NEGATIVE."

"Am I the only person that uses this Bank out of the convenience of it's location, but gets treated like they really don't want your business? Most indifferent, uncaring, unhelpful group of Malcontents working in any Bank anywhere are in the Hegewisch Branch. I could go on all day but I don't want to bore you."

"Absolutely the most uncaring people. My 88 year old aunt who just lost her husband went in to close an account he had actively had for 66 years. She had to pee. They would not let her use the restroom. So they had to stop what they were doing and my cousin had to walk her somewhere else. After two closed places they finally found a place that let her use their restroom. The lack of compassion of these people not letting her use the restroom is absurd. And then when my cousin reached out to them. There was no sorries and an explanation but a very cold hearted president throwing a legal action at him if he should write bad reviews. Everyone has a right to do a review. Here is mine! There are friendlier banks. Use those!!!!!"

"This bank refuses to operate in the 21st century. Ridiculous & sloppy internet banking if you have a business. I do not recommend this institution"
