Reviews
"I always read reviews before patronizing an establishment. I must admit I was so skeptical to use McCullough after reading the reviews, but I had two family members and one friend of the family that highly recommended McCullough. I decided to have my father's funeral there. It was the best decision i could have made!! The moment I walked in for the first time, Atia was extremely welcoming with high spirits. She addressed my dads funeral arrangements with unwavering dedication and sensitivity, easing the weight of my sorrow with her reassuring presence. Mrs. Adriene McCoullough was also extremely helpful through the process. I was so stunned when I walked in for my fathers viewing. Everything was set up so beautifully. They had also surprised me with an insert in his casket that has his pictures and name on it. It was the first time I has seen something like that. They also had a custom blanket made with his picture and name. That was a gift that I will cherish forever. I love throw blankets, I have over 30 of them. This one was made with quality material and its a great size. I was also concerned about my father appearing as the best he could be, but once again I was completely pleased with his hair and make up! The staff that day was so helpful and really assisted with making sure my family and I were able to celebrate the life of my father! Their unwavering commitment to excellence, combined with their genuine compassion and support, turned a difficult time into a cherished memory that will forever remain in our hearts.I know he would have been so pleased with every detail! To anyone in need of funeral services, I wholeheartedly recommend McCullough. They are more than just a funeral home, they are compassionate guides who will walk alongside you during life's most challenging moments, ensuring that your loved one's memory is honored with the dignity, respect, and care they deserve. I THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!!"
"I don't know how to thank Mccullough Funeral Home. They went over and above for our family. Everything was great . We couldn't ask for anything more. All Employees made our family feel like they were apart of our family. No question or task was to much .This was a very difficult time for our family with the McCullough by our side took alot off us. I would recommend anyone to them ."
"McCullough funeral home should be shut down. We paid for a memorial and cremation. On December 13th 2022 we had the memorial for my loved one. We were told by staff that the cremation would be done and would receive a call when the remains were ready for pick up. Two months passed and we reached out. We were then told the process could take a total of 90 days. After the 90 days we called and stopped by only to be told that the McCullough staff would reach out. It has been 13 months and we still have not received her remains. She is a mother, daughter, sister and it feels like she is a missing person. The staff have no idea where the remains are. I pray that no other family has to go through this"
"This place does not deserve to be a funeral home. We just had my cousin's funeral there yesterday 10/02 and it was horrible. The only thing that did not keep me from not only walking out nor punching his widow in the face was the fact that we are here to celebrate his life with the family. The family was so upset, his body was so poorly done, my three year old niece could've done a better make up job. My cousin top half of the body was swollen at the bottom half was flat like a pancake. The embalmment job was horrible. My uncle resembled Emmitt Till in his casket, they did not do him justice. This funeral home does not care about your loved ones. Very Ghetto. This place does not even deserve a star at all, I wish I can give them negative stars. My family would've been better off burying him in one of our backyards. Geneva Crawford and McCullough Funeral $ Cremation Services there is a special place in hell for what you all have done. Please do yourselves a favor and go with a better funeral home."
"I regret having my father funeral here. The owner is very unprofessional you have to call her for days to get in contact with her. She discriminate against my father because he was overweight. She had so many excuses and reasonings why certain things could not be done for him because of his weight.(My father was 6β3 366lbs) She tried to make us get a custom made casket like my father was that big. My father fitted perfectly in a regular casket. My father makeup was poorly done. He had a bruise on his face that was not original there when he passed away. They poorly put on my father clothes as well. We had to ask them to turn on the air conditioning. It was a 90 degree day why would you need to ask to turn on the a/c?Everything on my father death certificate was misspelled and wrong. My father passed away July 14th, his funeral was July 23rd. It is August 14 and I still have not received my father remains. But she go her money! I really wish I would had read the reviews about this place. I am so angry my father funeral was done by them and I will forever have this horrible memory. This place need to be shut down ASAP!"
