Reviews of Chase Bank
"They act professionally but are not professional at all. Some people are helpful but the manager is not. The manager could have easily helped me out with the problem i had with my business account nut she choose not to help me and insisted to me to take another appointment at that location or any other location for which i had to wait at least for 1 to 2 weeks . I fell my time is not valued at this particular chase branch. And the manager should help as she was not doing nothing at that time but she choose not to. I don’t understand why she was like that with me. Not happy with the service at all."
"I've never experienced such suffocating apathy from someone whose job it is to assist. I came in with a debit card issue, and was immediately blamed for the error, told that I was wrong despite providing proof, and endured huffing and puffing from the young woman assisting me when I asked for help with a solution. I understand the frustration of working a job dealing with customer service; furthermore, I understand that you can't be passionate about every customer's problem. But I came to a bank that has all of my money and explained that I can't get access to that money. And now I'm being told that I won't be able to access my funds until after the weekend when the new card arrives in the mail. It may not be a problem for the young woman working there, but it is a problem for a customer banking with Chase, where she's employed, and an inconvenient problem at that. At minimum, pretend to care and practice empathy. This location is literally less than a block from where I live. I could walk and be there in two minutes, and I'd now rather drive miles to another location just to be reminded what customer service feels like. I wish everyone there a peaceful and joyous life. Hopefully we'll never meet again."
"I've never had a problem. I can name several tellers in particular that I have worked with over the years that keep me specifically at this location. They don't have a public bathroom...but honestly I haven't noticed one at other branches and their staffing is down like every other business. Outside of that...their staff is the only reason I specifically go there. They've went above and beyond for me on several occasion over the years. They did the same for my family members when they realized they were related to me."
"Seeking to speak with a Chase personal banker at the South Holland branch proved to be impossible because they are not answering their phone on a Tuesday a.m. at 10:00 a.m.. I kept getting rerouted until the clerk from another country empathized with my plight and scheduled me with another location. Shame on Chase for not requiring branches to answer their phone or checking to make sure they do. So glad Calumet City branch is able to accommodate with an appt for a matter that extends beyond everyday banking."
"This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with any place. Firstly, when I came in the woman at the window rushed us. She told us to go online to make an appointment with a teller, which we did. The day of the appointment, they were supposed to call at 12:00 pm. They never called. No follow up email, no alerts as to if the meeting was canceled, nothing."
