"Never again!! The lady that does the billing PAM is very disrespectful she hung up in my face after I was trying to be very cooperative she cut me off and after I was given the run around and called a week straight to even speak to her. I don’t recommend here so much for thinking you’ll be treated right when it’s your own people but you get the opposite. Please take your business elsewhere."
"I went to this office in September of 2022 and the Doctor was great but some of the staff were terrible (1st time visit, the young lady had an serious attitude @ desk). I received a bill stating I owe over $300 for an cast or something but I never received anything from the doctor and no one told me something was ordered for me. I contacted the doctor office and was told that Pam will contact me and she didn't contact me in a couple of days, so I reached out to my insurance company and they talked to Pam and she couldn't answer their question, I was told by the insurance that she will contact me and she didn't call me until the next day. Pam called the next day and oh my god this lady had a nasty attitude and she was getting very loud and said I was suppose to receive a pair of insoles or something and I was charged $353, so I stated I was never told of me receiving anything and she went ballistic on me, stating I was charged even though I haven't received the items in questions. I told her that was over a month ago and I don't have anything and this lady said it don't matter we still charge you and she was hollering, so at this point I hung up on her and contacted my insurance company and disputed the following claim of items never received in a month and being charged"
"The staff and nurses were professional & kind, The care was impeccable. I'm happy that I decided to do something that I should have done a long time ago. I will be going every 6 weeks until my prognosis is good. Then we can tackle other my other foot issues."
"It's truly disheartening to have to write such an unfavorable review of this black owned business that's less than a mile from where I reside but I tried to resolve my issue over the phone and Pam just hung up on me. This type of customer service is unacceptable. I am a medicaid and medicare recipient and I take healthcare seriously so I have a variety of medical appointments from dentistry to primary care physicians to specialist like neurology. I have never received a bill after service without being told upfront what the costs would be if I proceeded. What Pam and JB Jenkins & Associates are telling me is that although I didn't have a co-pay when I went into the office, and I was not informed of how much my routine nail clipping would be, I am required to pay their invoiced amount because they don't receive enough reimbursement from my insurance. It is my belief that they are sending their patients invoices to make up for the amount that they believe they should have been reimbursed from the insurance company. This is totally arbitrary and a poor business practice. As a customer who really wanted to support these services in my community, all I am asking for is transparency. If I am going to receive an invoice then let me know before I use your service so that I can decide if that is something I want to do. The bill was not very high so I believe most people just pay it without saying anything and that allows this business to continue with this bad business practice. When I explained this to Pam, she told me that Dr. Jenkins was not going to change her business practices just because of one dissatisfied person. And that may be true but you've lost a patient and a community supporter and that should be an issue."
"I called to confirm my appointment. And the young lady on the phone said I missed my appointment. But she gladly said come on in. This was my first time there. This is a wonderful doctor's office. Everyone in this doctor office was great. Even the patients in the waiting room. All the doctors were walking around checking on everyone. They took time to explain everything and was so honest. Thank you so much for your good service, this made my day. Keep up the good work."
