"With added security, it was perfect!!! The Officers I met were "special", humane,"reachable" and quite cordial! I had to let them know,I for one am glad to welcome their appearance- with the police dogs!! A couple of Officers taught me the value of the shirt I have, which inspired me to search for more about it!"
"The new station is terrible. Very congested, no escalators. It looks cheap, concrete and steel, not enough exits. I was very disappointed. Please do better with the other side. The employees don't seem to like it either, I heard several of them complaining about it. Also the platform seems to be smaller. The concrete and steel makes it feel so cold. Just terrible."
"The station is in need of heavy repair. The mayor promised at least two years ago the station would be upgraded. They put up pretty pictures and everything. There isn't a new doorknob in that place yet! Most of the station personnel are disinterested and socialize more than doing their job. There are a few REALLY nice workers, but they are rare. Trains sometimes take off early, late or not at all. And the one store looks dirty. Also, homeless people (some of them mentally disturbed) ride the trains along with passengers. It's a generally frustrating experience in total."
"Alright if you're just running on to the train. Because the workers clean at that spot so it shouldn't smell bad. The cops are intimidating if you are irritated by thier presence and they are there periodically with dogs but they're pretty passive. They do confisate cards that may belong to other people. Like you cannot use your OWN mothers card to board the train EVEN if you are just a minor trying to go to school and dosent have money. Never buy from the quick convience store they are overpriced and dont mind the solicitors they're ok and just solicit; if you aren't a pretty girl then they'll bug you everyday for your number."
"This is a pretty rough stop. Not just because of the area, but the station at large. It's pretty much just a large storage room and very intuitive regarding the Greyhound check-in process at what not. However, being from the far south side, it is still my preference to board here than go all the way downtown."
