"I just pressed that 1 star. Because I did not visit this place. It may have been in a vicinity of a place that I was visiting but I did not visit this place"
"Great skilled workers, honest and will get the job done"
"Wow !!!!!!!Miss Lorell I have to say that I am completely shocked because we left your property with you praising us about how great of a job we have done! We never came into your property claiming that we were anything and we never persuaded you to give us the job those statements were all lies!!You hired a person Who was not employed by us to do your home and when that job was not completed in a timely manner you called us. We were never ever bothered with you threatening to sue us because that was never an OPTION of yours in the first place. I personally had several conversations with you on the phone making sure that your needs and WANTS we’re taking care of. We went over and behind for you because you were a single Mom and I stressed that to you plenty of times. You had so many change orders and non job descriptive things that we could have taxed you for but we didn’t because of our heart to see single Moms win. No Contractors in their right mind would constantly keep doing things that wasn’t in their agreement or contact and to set the record straight there were no nickel and dime situations going on here!!! You told me several times how you thanked God for sending us and how we encouraged and inspired you to keep going and I had personal conversations with you on the phone about your personal life and now your flipping the script because your property is completely done and there is no more drama surrounding it and it’s just left up to you to sell it? .. When my husband talked to you because I got sick, he was on his way to your home to look at the fan with the Electrian and to look at your hot water heater for free and you told him never mind. You started ranting about paint that the previous contractors did that wasn’t in our job descriptions and you accused my husband out of the blue of taking a back yard fence post from your gate and putting it on the front and he was upset by that because he stated Miss Lorell you know us to have better integrity than that and the crazy thing about that was you and I talked about it but you we’re trying to run games on my Husband because I got sick. You also have forgotten to post that we painted, insulated floors and doors , tore off all door casing ,fixed kitchen cabinets, plumbing, electrical work, Major carpentry, outside repairs to house and fence , laid high quality carpet, chimney, and poured concrete and put together sinks that was never in our (contract)all in three weeks!! You also forgot to mention that two days after the project was over you text me about a referral to do your neighbors home!!! You and I had several talks about how great the house looked and how you were so grateful for all the work and the clean up job and you wanted us to work with you in the future . We left you with a beautiful turn key house!! The sad part about this situation is that we all live in Cook County area and it’s so hard to find people with integrity. Please viewers check out the pictures at the bottom and also view her listing description about the house.Miss Lorell have a great life and I hope your next endeavor goes well."
"Quite a few years ago I had to deal with many different kinds of contractors with no character, morals, or values while trying to renovate my home after a house fire. I came across this company while trying to do a fix and flip the this company restored my faith in people within this field. The owners try their best to help you to complete your goals WITHIN YOUR OWN BUDGET. Awesome company and people to have to complete any needs relating to any renovation."
"I’m a single mother, on disability, who regrettably started a house flip with a subcontractor of theirs (named Elvis Rhaburn ..... NEVER WORK WITH THIS CROOK) for 7 months who never finished the job and beat me out of 10s of thousands of dollars! So I fired him and called (AL/GIA) the owners of SFC and threatened to sue them, which I should have done, but I let the persuasive reverend/bishop duo talk me out of it! Anyways, after explaining the situation to them, they were very apologetic, sympathetic and adamant about completing the repairs for me. They asked me what I could afford and I made it CLEAR that I only had 14K and that I wanted EVERYTHING to be completed for this amount as I had no more money along with a 3 page list of the repairs that I needed done. They agreed, WILLINGLY and EAGERLY, to do the job. I then told them to give me appx 3 days to get other bids during which Al called me everyday ...... telling me he wanted to complete the job for me. Once I got the bids, I SPECIFICALLY told him that I would prefer to go with another contractor because they were willing to do EVERYTHING on my list for 14K. He said that he would do the same. I made it CLEAR that I didn’t want to be “nickeled/dimmed” for any other work/repairs that needed to be done outside of what I had on my checklist as I didn’t have anymore money above the 14k. HE AGREED TO THIS AS WELL! I eventually decided to go with SFC because these contractors weren’t licensed and I would have to reapply with the village using someone else’s license and I didn’t have time to wait on this process. So ...... I went with SFC and at the beginning ..... everything went well. But as they began to uncover errors that their subcontractor ELVIS THE CROOK made that they had to correct, all of a sudden there were things on my list that THEY DECIDED didn’t necessarily need to be done, that they just didn’t do or that I would have pay out of my pocket to get done! For example, I had on the list to repair a glass block window in the laundry room. When I asked about it, AL said he didn’t do windows and that I didn’t need to worry because the house would sell. Ok. I let him talk me out of that! I put on the list to make sure ALL the windows were working and operating properly. When I noted 2 windows/seals upstairs were broken ..... Al said he don’t do windows. That buyers probably wouldn’t go looking all into the windows anyways. Then I asked them to install an extremely inexpensive metal divider strip where the kitchen tile and carpet meet and Al tried to talk me out of this. Then after I insisted ..... he finally, reluctantly installed it. Then ...... They had their electrician to install a ceiling fan with a remote. I told them the fan only works with the remote but not the switch. Gia said she would send him back out to repair it as it was probably just a glitch in the switch but never did. Then ...... when they declared they were officially done and Gia made it clear to me that she went above and beyond to pay a cleaning company (which she insisted she didn’t have to do) to clean the house, I found that there were paint spots everywhere on the floors, window, etc. Thank JEHOVAH for friends/family who worked hours to remove it for me! I could go on but ...... THE BOTTOM LINE IS ..... I wouldn’t recommend SFC or that crook ELVIS RHABURN to do so much as to change a lightbulb for me!"
