"Here for some lab work. The nurses and doctors r nice. But the ppl at the front desk r so stupid. Took her 20 min to check me in. Had ID and insurance card. Had my file pulled up on the system but for some reason had to call advocate on the phone to confirm she could check me in. So slow."
"On 4/20/2024 I arrived at this facility at 12:00pm for urgent care for my son. I was told by the clerk that they weren’t taking patients until 2pm. No problem I left and returned at 1:50pm and then was told by a different clerk that patients wasn’t being seen until 3pm. I told her that I was told earlier that patients could be see at 2pm. Her response in a very condescending tone was “well now it’s 3.” I called customer service for assistance and the representative told me that I was the second call that she received about being told two different times for urgent care. This was unprofessional. I ended up taking my son to the University of Chicago where we were seen immediately. Although I am a patient at Advocate, this discourages me from ever coming here for immediate care. I must say maybe the clerks need more assistance or more professional training. I would like to also add that the waiting room area had approximately 3-5 patients waiting so it wasn’t like it was a packed house."
"Dr.OKAFOR is the worst Dr I’ve seen in my medical life! He yelled at me about medical records that most Dr would request and said I had to get them instead of him faxing over the request as it has been done in my previous history! I’m a new patient here and my primary Dr. didn’t have appointments because of repeat issue I was having so I had to see him as no one else was available sooner on a Saturday. Because of this visit I have decided to terminate my patient care with this entire group! DO NOT GO SEE"
"Arrived on time with the appointment (3:30) and filled out paperwork for new patient. The line to the front desk was not long and there was about 5 staff members attending and checking in patients for their appointments. We waited about 1hr to be seen by the doctor. Dr. Voss listened to the patients problems and concerns, she also was quick to give us a referal to see a specialist. The nurse who cheked the patients vitals was nice and also quick. We made an xray appointment in the afternoon (4:30) so we are glad it didn't have to be another day."
"Appointments can only be made months in advanced and once you've been waiting a month and a half for your appointment they will call you to cancel and reschedule. Once you finally get in, the doctor is always late, at least an hour past my appointment time. Later on I'll get double billed for no reason what so ever, then the billed will be sent to collections even tho it was paid. No warning, no calls, no letters saying I owe a bill. Just ruined credit. . I've gone in to get a routine prescription filled, then forced to strip down to the examination gown, and left in the room for 30mins, just to be told later you don't have to do that, it's just a prescription. I've been going here for over 10 years and it's never been a great experience."
