Welcome to Momence Orthodox Presbyterian Church
Located at 4132 Illinois Route 1, Momence, Illinois, our church is a vibrant and welcoming place of worship dedicated to connecting with God and experiencing His presence in our lives. At Momence Orthodox Presbyterian Church, we offer a traditional worship experience that includes expository preaching, fervent prayer, and the regular observance of sacraments. Our services are designed to be uplifting and inspiring, centering around the teachings of Christ.
We believe that faith extends beyond the walls of our church and are actively involved in various local and global outreach programs. From feeding the hungry to supporting missionaries worldwide, we strive to make a difference in the lives of others.
Our church community is delighted to offer Sunday School for all ages, providing Bible studies at 11:15 AM every Sunday. These classes will resume on September 8, 2024, after the summer break. Additionally, we offer GEMS, a program for children that combines Bible lessons, crafts, and badge work, meeting every 2nd and 4th Monday from 3:30 to 5:00 PM.
We are also committed to supporting our members in times of need, whether it’s providing meals for families with new babies or those who are ill. Furthermore, we are honored to host weddings for our church members, celebrating the union of love within our community.
Our pastor, Rev. Lane Keister, is an ordained minister of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. With a rich background in ministry and a passion for Old Testament studies, Rev. Keister has been serving at Momence OPC since March 2017. He is a dedicated family man and enjoys reading, racquetball, chess, music, and board games with his wife, Sarah, and their five children.
