"I tried to register my daughter for preschool. I had all the paperwork, income verification, and physical information turned in back in August. They had my daughter come in for an assessment. We were early, but the appointment took 3 hours. And she still would not be able to start pre school in time. The psychologist Mike told me about all the language and cognitive issues my daughter is having, and scheduled me for another appointment to evaluate her, AGAIN. I was unable to make the appointment. The next time the school would ALLOW me to come in for an appointment was 10/09/2019. They want to "diagnose" my daughter. Also, she would have to go in for another evaluation on Halloween. My daughter doesn't need a diagnosis, she needs preschool. The staff could have easily assessed her further in the classroom setting.. I guess the school just wants me to jump through hoops, and they want further opportunities to focus on my daughter's deficits. I cancelled my appointment. IT seems like this preschool is in the business of securing grants and funding, rather than helping kids who need preschool. My daughter will be fine, she'll catch up. The school's policies however are hopeless. If you have a child who needs extra help, do not waste your time! Programs should focus on a child's strengths and build upon them. The staff including the psychologist was polite, but I would never send my child to a school where she will be marginalize. It is easy to infer that they did not care about helping my child AT ALL. How could they ever fix causing my child to miss out on her first year of school? On top of needing extra help, now she got to miss out on school by putting unneeded extra requirements on us. Like I said, she's probably much better off not attending their program. I am glad I came to my senses and cancelled instead of playing their game."
"Terrible communication, rude staff. Special ed department is a disaster.Avoid this school district if you care about your children."
"It's alright, good staff, sometimes they have bad staff. The building is okay, good shape. The fountains are bad though, so is the food. Other than that, everything is great! Keep up the good work."
"Bus number 22 is the worst I don't know how parents let their kids ride on that bus"
