Our mission is to respond efficiently and effectively to fire and rescue incidents, whether they are man-made or naturally occurring, ensuring the safety and well-being of our citizens and visitors.

Under the leadership of Fire Chief Jason Bell and Deputy Fire Chief Willie Buie, our committed team of professionals, including Captains, Lieutenants, Driver Engineers, and Firefighters, work tirelessly to maintain high standards of service. Our operational divisions are strategically located across three stations to provide prompt and reliable emergency response.

We are proud to offer a range of community services and initiatives aimed at enhancing public safety. Our Fire Prevention Bureau, led by John Calhoun, focuses on educating the public about fire safety through events, station tours, and presentations for schools, churches, and community organizations. We also conduct business and residential inspections to ensure compliance with fire safety codes.

A key component of our community outreach is our "Project Install" program. We are committed to ensuring that every home in our community has at least one working smoke alarm. If you do not have a working smoke alarm and cannot afford one, we will provide and install one free of charge. Our administration office is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., where you can obtain more information about our services. We are dedicated to building strong relationships with our community through mutual understanding, collaboration, and trust.
