"Worst experience ever! The body arrived super late when they finally arrived the worker were dressed like bums off the street; worn and ragged. They referred to my loved one always as THIS MAN never “your loved one or Mr..”. We had to lay our own flowers out as well as the guest book. Once viewing the body they didn’t shave or properly color match my loved one. With now a crowd of people waiting to view the body now over an hour past start time we reluctantly allowed others to pay their respects. Halfway through the viewing the workers moved the body ! After several back and forth calls and discrepancies while on hold and seemingly forgetting to ok mute herself the director Ms Acklin begins to talk down in my family! UNPROFESSIONAL!!! If you want to truly send your loved one off with peace and love and good memories find another mortuary!"

"My in-laws have lost several family members and the Acklin Funeral home took great care of everything and every concern. They were patient, kind and prices were great also. Unfortunately I've now lost a dear famoly member but we will be calling Acklin for their services. They are also making sure they follow COVID 19 precautions!"

"I rented a limo from this place for my fathers funeral. A total cost of $400. The day of the funeral the driver was to pick me up at 930. She was outside honking her horn at 9:25 and she also didn’t have a mask on. She almost forgot to open the door for us and finally got out to open the door. The limo was dusty inside had dirty windows and was and hot. My mom and I sweated our makeup off before we even got there. The lady was driving fast and seemed like she was in a rush sliding through stop signs. After the funeral we got back into the limo and it was still hot! A professional business should have made sure we were comfortable especially for all that money. The limo seemed like it needed maintenance and was old. The limo never cooled off and we continued to sweat in the back. My mom spoke with Laura to tell her about the service. She said she would call my mom back and never did. My mom waited 3 days and finally called back. All Laura said was thank you for telling me and hung up. Very unprofessional. Bad business. You should never leave paying customers with a nasty taste. This is why no one wants to support our own people and businesses because some of us aren’t professional enough to handle issues. Not only was I grieving the loss of my father but I was dealing with unprofessional people who should have made sure this experience went smooth and easy. The air should have been running and cool when we got into the limo. Had I known this I would’ve went to an outside service for a limo. I would not recommend this funeral home. Waste of money!"

"Horrible. Outside, the side of facility was full of litter and gargage. Carpet was dirty. The funeral before our loved ones wake stole the flowers to our ceremony because the funeral workers didn’t read the tags to see which person they belonged to. So I had to go outside while the other family was lining up for funeral procession, and check all the cars, and get my own flowers back. Then the employees lied and didn’t take responsibility. I wouldn’t have another loved ones funeral there unless I absolutely hated them. Very poor service. The body wasn’t ready on time, and I can go on and on."
