"In September of last year, I purchased a home in the area and was having issues with water pooling in front of my home. From the very first month, I’d put in several service requests for the city to come out and clean the catch basin. I had no luck getting them out. I went to the Aldermen office and JB got right on top business. Within that same week they were in front of my home. I must say I was impress and felt thankful to be in a district where the elected officials care for the people. Thank You so much!"
"Alderman Mosley's office is always available to speak with you and tries to offer reasonable solutions to different concerns."
"It is Carrie Austin's 34th ward all over again!! No water for those who were affected by the water boil...we have to go to the 19th ward???!!! I wish the 19th ward boundaries extended to I-57!!!"
"On February 26, 2024, March 4th and March 12th of 2024, I sent a total of three email requesting an inquiry/request to Alderman Mosley for a suggestion or a guard rail in front on my house. Also, to discuss the numerous car accidents(9 to10 within the last year) in front of my home. In addition, the damages to my property and the damages and replacement of about four street lights. In my email, I have pictures of how these damages that nearly hit my home and other neighbor’s homes. I spoke with Tasha by phone twice about my request to Alderman Mosley and forwarded an email to Carla Glover(Chief of Staff) per the suggestion from Tasha during the first call. The second call with Tasha she suggested because they get a lot of emails, to come into the office on Mondays, and quoted certain hours. I told her those hours I will be at work. I’m requesting that the Alderman do the right thing and reply to the email or call me, if possible. I’m frustrated and I asked that they do the right thing. He sends out emails and I read them. How come he can’t read or have someone read /respond to emails. Why does he solicit emails and calls for any problems we have when he does not respond to them. I am totally disappointed in him."
"It's refreshing to have an Alderman's office that feels inviting, and expectant of the constituents that it is serving. While I may not see eye to eye on everything that any politician does, for the first time since being a resident of West Pullman do I feel that my concerns are being heard and heard efficiently. I've waited 9 years to get new curbs on my block. While the process was not seamless, it has happened. Alderman Mosley was elected and went right to work making sure that the concerns of his community are at the forefront of the work he is doing. There is a lot that goes into running a ward, and the fact that he as a first time alderman has to navigate the largest ward in the city and learning how to speak up properly for all of his constituents and keep them engaged should mean a lot to us. He keeps consistent office hours AND holds regular town hall meetings. He came out of the gate interacting with those of us who are making our voices heard. Until I'm given reason to NOT support, this office and office staff will always have mine."
