"I have been going to Camaras African hair braiding for years now and this last time was the worst experience I’ve had. I called Camara and asked her what type of hair do I need for the Boho braids and she told me 1pack of human hair and that’s what I went and bought for $50. I paid $200 for some small Boho knotless braids and the new lady that did my hair must’ve didn’t know what she was doing. My hair was different size,lenth . The parts was different sizes,There are pieces of my hair left out ,when I got there I was the third person .they were done with my hair two hours after the fifth person left. I was so in the rush to leave that I didn’t really pay my hair all that much attention until the next day when I got home and I called Carmela that Wednesday to let her know about my hair, she told me to come back in when I came in on Thursday after work, she and another lady cut some of the curls out and asked why did I get that type of hair I explained to her that’s the type of hair she told me to get. She said I shouldn’t use human hair because it tangled. but anyway, she cut some of the curls out and say OK you all done now it’s still looks a mess. It’s still uneven. She did nothing to fix it. I think that if next time she gets a new person in her shop she should if they don’t know what they’re doing, she should not have them there. We pay too much money for our hair to not be satisfied with it. I’m gonna take this up as a wrap, and will not be attending her shop anymore she couldn’t even figure out what to do with my hair and she even seen that. It was a hot mess."

"First off it took her about 9 hrs to do my hair then she parted it the way she wanted to I think she was learning how to do the boho on my head if you decide to go there let the owner do your head I had a grandma doing it $200 down the drain some of the curly hair falling out my head the same day I don’t think I would return"

"It’s my 4th time coming here. I asked for medium butt length knotless braids. I got exactly what I wanted and my hair looks amazing!! I even tried out a new color (color black/27/613) and got a lot of great compliments. It’s first come first serve so no appointments. They work fast and efficiently. The waiting time is always worth it because once you leave the shop you know you’re going to look your ultimate best. I definitely recommend this place!"

"I asked for medium braids and shoulder length with detailed parts. They did just the opposite. I referred a friend she wanted bigger braids they did her the same way and gave her smaller braids. She took her braids out in 3 days hair was too itchy. They formerly had better braiders. Their not what they use to be. When I addressed my issues after giving them a $50 tip they blocked my Calls. WONT SPEND MY MONEY THERE. I referred lots of people to them. Never again."
