"I bought my boyfriend here on Saturday evening. The food was delicious and the cashier in the front was very polite and sweet. The ambiance is beautiful, and the dining area was clean. When I went to the bathroom, it was emaculantly clean. I will most definitely be back."

"This location in Harvey has been terrible. I've been an S2 customer for several years over 6 at least. From the original location to a few of the others for some reason this location can't get it right. My old fav location was 50th and Halsted till they moved those cooks. These new cooks can't cook the meals the way the old ones do. I know yall know what I mean. I support my ppls businesses and I been supporting for a long time but my last 4 visits been terrible 3 at harvey and 1 at halsted with those new cooks. For some reason every time I order a turkey burger the cook burn my bacon and still put it on my burger. My last harvey visit was so bad I had to return the entire order and I order for myself my wife and my daughter and we order appetizers as well so I spend almost $100 every time. I keep returning with hopes of improvement because I rock with my ppl but as a disgruntled customer my patience is wearing thin. Please improve! The pics from 3 different visits."

"I got a catered order and this place sent me this chicken. They sent me THIS chicken. And then the manager had the NERVE to get an attitude when I questioned it. I paid $92 for this pan of chicken and they had the DOUBLE NERVE to offer only $25 for the inconvenience of sending it as burnt and old as it was. Thank god for the third party catering company that I booked through who refunded me the entire amount. I understand times are hard on the food and beverage industry right now, and I understand it’s a thankless industry, but guys. Cmon. You guys saw this chicken and decided to send it ANYWAY. And for that, here’s the honest review of my experience with your business. Disclaimer: everything else I ordered (mac and cheese, oxtails, rice and peas, yams, fried catfish, rib tips) was *delicious* and my party really enjoyed it all, which is why I’m giving you 3 stars instead of the 1 star that my right mind is telling me to give."

"This may be one of the quirkier restaurants that I have been in a while. The decor is a little bit kitschy but it's clear that effort was put into everything. There is something homey about it right down to the plastic ivy draping over the window. I stopped in, saw that one of their local favorites was the wings, so I figured I'd test their signature wing sauce while my spouse had the wrap. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the sauce had a slightly smokey, sharp sweet heat with what we think is a carribean flare. Baked Mac and cheese was goeey and cheesy as you'd expect. Spouse had the fries and they were good standards for seasoned fries. Prices start at 15-20 a head for a meal. They can go much higher if you order the lobster or more specialty fare. So, be aware. Would definitely recommend."
