"It was a little after 9:00pm on a Saturday, when I spotted this J & J Restaurant. I went inside to place my order and was immediately impressed by its cleanliness. The floor, tables/seats, counters and the food preparation area...all very clean. The young woman that took my order was friendly and courteous. There was only one person ahead of me, however, some people had phoned in their orders, so there was a waiting period. I didn't mind because the time went so quickly. Also, unlike other J & J's, this one has a drive-thru. I ordered 3 dinners to go; a small jack salmon, a small ocean perch and a 6 pc. chicken wing dinner. Extras included an order of fried okra, hush puppies and a corn on the cob (a full size ear). Each dinner included: French fries, a very small cup of coleslaw and 2 slices of white bread in addition to the mild and hot sauce they provide. The fish was fried to perfection, light and crispy, not greasy. The chicken was also fried to perfection, crispy and not hard or greasy. All the side dishes were well prepared. Since none of us eats coleslaw or white bread, I can't speak about them. As for being different, in addition to its drive-thru, this J & J offers a variety of foods that I've never seen offered in any of the others; tacos, spaghetti, and a selection of salads, just to name a few."

"The food was cooked perfectly. The chicken wings and fish filled was juicy. The food was hot and fresh and delicious. The gentleman was super nice. Had their chicken and fish (#4). Large gizzard and steak cheese fries (wasn't feeling the steak cheese fries, each individual ingridient taste good, but not when mixed together)."

"Did not taste like your traditional JJ Fish, food was below average, very oily and breaded fish, also was charged a 0.59 fee, the sign on there window stated if you use a credit card but i used a debit card and was still charged, will not be back, one of the worse JJ Fish i been to in regards to the food. The staff was friendly but the food was not all that good, i had to eat around the grease and breaded coating which left half the food uneaten. Total bill with the fee was $15.17"
