"I purchased a car back in February 2021, overall the car has been ok with no major problems and only light maintenance needed from my end. The problem is that I have not received the title from this dealer, I’ve called every month since March inquiring about the title. Every time I call I am given a different excuse ranging from “it’s being mailed out today” to “we still need to file the paperwork”. At this point I have decided to escalate this issue with the Illinois Secretary of State Police, I was told by the police department that no paperwork was ever filed for the car by this dealership. Meaning I can not register the car without the title. If you buy a car from this establishment make sure you are given the title the spot. Something very strange is going on with the people who sell these cars."
"DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!! I REPEAT DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE! They do shady business deals. Purshased 2009 Honda Accord in April. For personal reasons I did not want to finance a new vehicle. Wanted a cash car since my paid off vehicle was totaled in an accident a month prior. Seen the listing on Craiglist and came in the next day. When asked about a Carfax was told they don't offer them. Purchased the vehicle only to find out later that evening from Carfax that the miles was rolled back by 100K. Per Carfax my vehicle actual milesage is 239K. The next day brought this information to Mega Auto Sale's. They did compensate something for selling the vehicle under false pretense. In June I contact Mega Auto Sale's regarding the vehicle's title. Was advised I should recieve at my home address by end of July. Of course NO title! Contacted Maria, stated she was going to get in contact with Secretary of State to find out about the delay. I had to contact her back again for the follow up. She explained that the title would be mailed to Mega Auto Sale's by the following week. Another week or so go by and no hear from. Finally we are in September and I get a call the title was ready for pick up. Came in today Sept 10th, only to see the Bill of Sale form from the bottom of the title had been removed. When I brought it to Maria's attention. She stated the guy who files the title takes it off. Now mind you, when I would call, the guy says she handles all the titles and paperwork. I asked why was it removed? Stated she don't know and they don't do anything with it but shred it. I proceeded to explain it should not be removed unless I the owner of the vehicle sell the car to someone. Now I have to spend money out of my own pocket to submit for a new title. Thankfully, regarding the vehicle itself, I have had no major problems. A/C went completely out after a week or so. This was covered under the exteneded warranty I had purchased. Replaced the front brakes because they were on one percent after purchasing the car. Check engine light comes on here and there. Have had it checked out each time by different mechanics. States computer keeps given them one of the catalytic converter error codes. Once again nothing to costly or major thank God!"
"I purchased a 2009 Ford Edge $5,500 CASH for a truck they don’t even know the right yr of. I put 1,400 in work days later (Car was just pieced together) (Wrong size rotors, all different tires, etc) Still no title 3 MONTHS LATER. I have been contacted about my truck being stolen from a tow yard. I was fined $300 for have 2 different plates . My Truck went out a week later. They’ll never get you the correct paperwork. They will give you the run arounds. Mechanic never available to fix what was agreed on upon. THEY ARE ABOUT MONEY NOT SELLING GOOD CARS…. You will be disappointed..! DONT DO IT. Im definitely FILING A COMPLAINT WITH the BBB. This is sickening. How are they even still I’m business."
"Responded to a Craigslist Advertisement. Told them I would be there in 45 minutes to see the car. When I arrived someone else was test driving the car. I would have appreciated the opportunity to give a higher offer on the vehicle but because someone showed up to see the car before me, even though the lot manager, admitted I contacted him first - I was not given the option. He would not allow me to even see the car before the other person had an opportunity to decide if they wanted the car. Many cars were reasonably priced, but it was awful business practice to tell me to come look at a car and then sell it out from under me. They could have at least sent me a text message to see how far away I was or told the person test driving that another party was only 5 minutes away. Ultimately the person test driving the car purchased it. And Mega Auto Sales lost another customer and earned themselves a 1 Star review. I highly recommend not buying from Mega Auto Sales and finding other businesses that will not steal your time and who will live up to their end of an agreement."
"I purchased a vehicle May 2019 and still have not received my title. I was informed it would be 14 business day before I receive it. I’ve been having problems with the car and a friend stated they would buy the car from me in Oct 2019 and I realized that I hadn’t received the title I called and was informed that the titles were lost in the mail. Fast forward to today which is 2.21.2020 still no title. I called at 12:45 was told someone would call me back in the 30 minutes no call back so. I call back a hour later just to be told I still have to wait 14 business due to the notary was missing a number. This is very unprofessional and inconvenient. I’m unable to do anything with this vehicle due to not having a title."
