Harold’s Chicken

"I called prior to coming and was told that they weren’t taking phone orders but I’m free to come in. I get there and it’s all of 5 customers and 5 employees working. Long story short. The staff was going more talking amongst themselves and seemingly very relaxed and unprofessional. I ordered the wing and catfish dinner and I swear this food is old. It’s hard and dry. I can’t believe that they served this. I was so upset that I decided to call them and let them know. Only for the person answering the phone to say “no call ins”. I began to tell the person on the phone my experience and she hung up the phone in my face. Never ever again."

"Horrible!!!!! Waited over a hr for the food. The Cashier was very rude. Refused everyone there money back. I’ve called to speak with the owner several times no one ever returned the call back. The food is good but it’s not worth the service & what you have to deal with to get it. Also poured sauce on one of the customers food inside of the unsanitary window customers was just talkin through. This was unbelievable"

"Here on business from Texas and been wanting to come here for years now! And yesterday did not disappoint!!! First off,the staff was welcoming, friendly, and informative! The food was well seasoned, fresh and damn good! That mild sauce almost had me bite my fingers off! The pizza puff was bomb as well! Truly made my first visit to Chicago memorable and I will be back!!!!!"

"I ordered the 6 piece wing meal, mild. It comes with fries, Cole slaw, and bread. It was all very yummy! I will say, order a side of extra sauce because the wings were not very saucy."
