Personnel: The staff at Avenue Cleaners, particularly Laura and Manager Mary, left me with mixed feelings. While Laura seemed clueless about some matters, Mary demonstrated professionalism but lacked effective communication and people skills. The discrepancy between their work hours made it challenging to connect with Mary, leading to unanswered messages and a lack of resolution. Business: Avenue Cleaners appears to have a solid business connection with Sheraton Suites in Downtown Wilmington, which likely contributes to their consistent flow of customers. The delivery service, particularly for hotel clients, is commendable, with quick turnaround times. Environment: Upon entering the establishment, I noticed that the interior was a bit crowded compared to other dry cleaners. While this might not affect the service directly, a more spacious setting could improve the overall customer experience. Marketing: Avenue Cleaners' visibility in the community seems limited, and there's a lack of information about their environmental initiatives. Whether this is positive or negative depends on individual preferences, but a stronger community presence could enhance their reputation. Professionalism: Manager Mary exhibits professionalism, but her approach may lack some essential people skills. On the other hand, there is another staff member named Mary, who is more attentive and customer-focused, providing a positive contrast. The Problem: My main issue arose when I received my suit back with noticeable white lines along the seams. Despite attempts to address the problem, including discussions with both Laura and Manager Mary, the issue persisted. Mary eventually claimed the white lines were due to fabric damage, contradicting earlier assurances of a fix and leaving me dissatisfied with the resolution. Overall, Avenue Cleaners offers quick service, reasonable prices, and attempts to go above and beyond for customers. However, their customer service and internal communication need improvement. The conflicting information, coupled with the unresolved issue, left me feeling frustrated and questioning the reliability of their service."

She's really putting some effort into the place. With their new green/eco-friendly dry cleaning machine none of my clothes smell like chemicals when I first bring them home - added bonus."

"The new owner tried to improve but it still fails miserably. I gave a few suits to clean and the stains were still there, then some shirts and most of the buttons on the sleeves were broken in small pieces (I have no idea how they did that), finally they are supposed to pick up laundry at my company and keep on forgetting to pick up my bag because it was hanged and not on the floor. After 3 weeks of the bag being there they didn't even check. I will take my business somewhere else."
