"In the summer of 2023, we bought a beautiful house and shortly after we moved in, we had a major fire that resulted in our house being ripped down to the studs. We had not even been in the house for two months yet, but as soon as we got the insurance claim started, ServPro was there. From the very first moment we met Keith and Dave, we were met with kindness, encouragement and expertise. I was very surprised with how much they cared about our situation even though they deal with this all the time, and that detail really made me want to have them be the ones to restore the house. It was honestly the best decision we could have made. They had an entire timeline planned out within a week. The communication from this team was incredible the entire restoration process, far better than any contractor that I or anyone I know has ever experienced. They also helped us navigate working with insurance which we had zero experience doing. It was quite amazing how they managed to stretch the budget we were given - they made all kinds of improvements including a kitchen with quartz countertops, electric bidet toilets, engineered hardwood and stone floors, outdoor cameras, and beautiful wall colors. We were estimated 12-18 months by the insurance company and ServPro had us back in our house in about 9 months. We moved back in almost 2 months ago and they are still checking up on us and just as responsive as ever. They are always over as quick as possible if we call them for anything and they have a 1 year warranty on all of their work! It was a fantastic experience working with them and I will call them for any contracting needs from now on. They don't just do fire and water restoration, they can do pretty much anything. "At the end of July 2023 our home caught fire after a freak accident. It was our first home and we hadn’t even been there 2 full months. Luckily, no one was hurt in the process. My husband was out of the country at the time of the fire and I thought I was going to have to figure everything out on my own. Our insurance works with ServPro and they were out the same night looking at the outside of the house and then the next morning to safely go inside with the daylight. Right away, I knew I was happy these were the people fixing my home. Not only were they professional, but kind with a great sense of humor, which is very important to me during a tragedy. I am happy to say we were back in less than 10 months. "From a house fire came a great business relationship that I cannot say enough good things about! Our colonial 4 bedroom home caught fire in the basement 2 days before we were to sell it to another family. There was significant fire and smoke damage throughout the home. Within 48 hours of the fire we were recommended to Keith Jackson and his ServPro Team. Keith and a team of no less than 6 ServPro professionals were at our home the next day laying out a plan with us for clean-up, fire damage repair, smoke remediation, etc. so that we could sell our home within the next 4 months to the buyers (which we did and even slightly ahead of schedule!). The first day on sight ServPro took photos and videos of every room and began the process of segregating "clean" and unclean areas. What made the job challenging is that we were already planning to move to FL (and did soon after) and needed Keith and his team to act as the General Contractor for us in NJ.
