"Very rude, too pricy, claims got be open till 7 but closes much earlier"
"Let me start off by saying that this has been the worst experience I have ever encountered at a dry cleaner. The quality of work is horrendous, I brought in a coat to be tailored and they ruined it. My coat was scheduled yo be ready for pick up on Tuesday but I gave him an extra day just to make sure they did a good job, and came and picked it up on Wednesday. To my surprise; the coat was not ready; I had to wait there for about a half hour which made me be late to work. I really needed the coat so I had to wait for it. Once the coat was ready I proceed to inspect it and to my surprise the work was done incorrectly. When I addressed this matter to the owner or whoever that guy is that works the counter he seem defensive and he said that there was nothing he could do was nothing he could do but yet they were quick to charge me $80 which I paid. I WIll NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!"
"Not convinced they have actually cleaned some of the clothes I've brought. I brought a sweater that I unsuccessfully washed at home (let it air dry and it smelled like mildew because it didn't dry fast enough) and when I got it back from Young's it STILL smelled like mildew. I also brought my coat there to be cleaned and got it back and there was lint all over it and a faded stain that was there when I brought it. They also ruined one of my sweaters (was blue and when I got it back, there was a faded purplish section on the shirt from what I assume were too much chemicals. The man who owns the store is very rude and when you walk in they ignore you and make you wait. I once went in, rang the bell numerous times, and nobody came up front so I left. I'm now leaving and taking my business elsewhere."
"Ive been bringing my cleaning and an occational alteration for almost two decades. They are always nice, they have never lost anything and my startched shirts look perfect."
"I picked up my expensive designer tuxedo today and found a hole/rip/tear in the sleeve after checking items before leaving. The female owner did not seem surprised and denied damaging it. Says her husband noticed the hole and brought it to her. They never called me to report the damage before I picked it up, however. She said that was because somehow I knew there was already a hole!!! There was no "damage" tag pinned next to the sleeve to draw attention to it. Because he brought it to her, I'm sure she remembered the item was damaged and could have alerted me of the hole when I picked it up, at a minimum. She was mum the whole time. Stone faced. She produces her pink ticket that had a hand written note -- made after they allegedly "found" the hole. My ticket, which I happened to leave home, fortunately, had no hand written note on it that was given to me by the husband after he performed a visual inspection, in detail, of each the 4 items I brought in. The damage is in a prominent part of the front sleeve. Its clear that a hanger or something else sharp got caught on the sleeve and someone pulled it making it a hole/rip/tear. This couple obviously worked on their "defense" prior to me arriving indicating that there "must have been a tear" that made the hole get bigger after dry cleaning. Says they never have damaged clothes in 30 years. We stopped coming here two years ago because we got fed up with them calling all the time asking us to return other people's clothes they incorrectly sent home with ours. When they lost one of my black pin striped Burberry suits and claimed they didn't (I didn't notice it missing until months later), we stopped going there. I went back this time because I assumed they might have gotten their act together. Moreover, I needed same-day service, since they launder on premise, the prior weekend on another item I needed to take with me on travel. I left the other three items behind, one of which needed a button attached, one of which had a stain in the front needing removing, and the tux only needed dry cleaning. We both inspected each of the items. If there were a hole, or tear, it would have been noticed. The wife, nor her husband, have integrity. They know who in their company damaged my tux and how it was done. They were hoping I wouldn't notice until after I left -- or worse, until I decided to wear the tux again months later and discover the damage. I will sue them for the damage as a result. It won't be an inexpensive claim. Thierry Mugler doesn't make men's clothing anymore, so I'm even more ticked off since it can't be replaced. In the meantime PLEASE INSPECT YOUR CLOTHES AND TAKE PICTURES OF EXPENSIVE ITEMS -- BOTH FOR INVENTORY PURPOSES, IN CASE THEY LOSE THEM, AND FOR DAMAGE CLAIMS. It's a shoddy, operationally inefficient, retail cleaner -- with zero integrity."
