Motel Jesup

"A horrible experience! I checked in, and before unpacking I was relaxing on the bed when the room next door got very noisy and had another group or family apparently living there, just hanging outside the room cursing and making a lot of noise. I laid there for about an hour, hoping they would go away, but they didn't. I had not yet unpacked, so I grabbed my bag and moved it to the car. The manager and his wife walked by, and I told him I was leaving Because I felt in danger and asked them to reverse my charge. They offered me another room, but there is no way I was going to feel safe with that group. And now they refuse to reverse that charge!"

"Absolutely disgusting. The shower was CAKED with something. I don't even know. We all needed a shower but I was terrified to put my kids in there. The sink was just as bad. So none of of eye able to get cleaned up. The floor had something sticky all over it as well as dirt. Roaches everywhere. The fridge didn't work, the air barely worked, and neither did the WiFi. We were told our money ($70) could not be refunded."

"Come on people, I came here looking for an affordable place to stay while visiting my nephew... I'm reading reviews in shock.... I hate to break it to miss party who swears they were so very quiet, although someone else had to rent the room... A little education for you..... Bedbugs can be contracted anywhere..... From the cheapest to the most expensive establishment. They don't come from the establishment, they are brought in by people renting the rooms. You can check your bed before you ever lay down on it. As matter of fact, you should never take your luggage until you have inspected the room. I hope you've learned something here."

"Bed bugs. Have bites all over my legs back and stomach. Doors are not safe. Had to put a wedge on the bottom of it. I'm beyond upset. Was too tired to drive so, I found this place on the way to get some sleep. I had checked for a none SMOKING room. Didn't get it. Switched rooms, but it still smelled. It was better than the first one as far as smell but it has bed bugs. -.- People that work here are nice but bed bugs ??!! There's also bad smell in the air (pollution) It's a plant near by. Definitely have to watch your car here. Lucky I had mine right in front of the window."

"Forced to stay here due to evacuation of Hurricane Matthew. No rooms anywhere else or would have left. The carpet was so slimy we had to buy bedroom slippers to not walk on the floor. We kept our luggage on the dresser. The shower was so nasty we didn't use it. The place was small. Everything was dirty and grimy. The door had gaps around it and even when closed you could see in and out. People were loud right outside the door. I would never stay here again."
