"I had given 3 stars however am now back to lower that number due to the interaction I had with the gentleman that answered the phone today. He even admitted to being the one to arrange the flowers for a basket arrangement I was sending for a Sympathy bouquet that cost substantially more than I would have ever paid for the final product. What a disgrace indeed. I called to let the flower shoppe Ellis' know of my disappointment. The flowers that they say "were a substitution" were simple mums that I could have purchased at the local walmart....the only saving grace was that it did have the white roses....not as many as should have been according to the photo mind you...and also....no basket (i chose the medium bouquet) When I politely explained this to the gentleman, his answer was " Perhaps next time you should go to Walmart and make your own bouquet" He went on to say I have been in business for over 30 years, I knew that this call was one that was going to go no where with customer service in mind. At that point all I could say was " I am happy for you and if I lived anywhere close to them I would have not called you". I then hung up the phone, gently. What a shame and a waste of our time and hard earned money. If I would have read a post like this, I would not have called in the first place. My name is Kathleen and I don't know about you, but I just think that this was cold, rude and sad. I did not even ask for anything, just to share my disappointment."
