"They are sweet people and August been here a year. My apt. Is nice and has been remodeled and its beautiful."
"Terrible establishment set outside for 30 45 minutes in the cold ringing the bell calling frontdesk and no one would answer or open the door. Would not recommend"
"This is a very rundown place it is reasonably priced and ok for a quick night sleep if your on the road. There is another hotel down the road in Homerville but it's overpriced and the manager is rude and the rooms are not great. This is the only decent prices hotel room you will find unless you go to Waycross or Valdosta. If you are headed south you will not find anything else for miles. There are some shady characters hanging around at this old hotel sometimes but if I need a place to pull over and rest this is ok. I recommend camping at the river though."
"Extremely dirty and smelly. Looks like the floors haven't been vacuumed in years. Barely slept because I thought I might be eaten by creepy crawlies. Place should be condemned"
"Homerville, GA is a regular stop for me on my travels between Louisiana and North Carolina. The Royal Inn is a very reasonable $40 plus tax and state hotel fee. It's not fancy but it is clean, the a/c works well in the summer and the heat works well in the winter. There used to be a swimming pool but no more and no internet connection. Still, if you want a quiet, clean place along the way, stop in and get a good night of rest."
