"I have used Chip and his guys three times now, since buying my home in 2021. The previous owner was a DIY guy and though had good intentions, was not knowledgeable enough to replace and wire outlets and ceiling fans. Each time the guys came out, they were thorough. They checked the wiring on each outlet of the affected circuit, to make sure the connections were strong and not faulty. They also just installed a ceiling fan for me, replacing the previously installed one. I overheard them, as they were trying to correct the previous problem wiring, saying that they needed to “make this right” for me. I truly appreciate their work ethic and drive to leave the situation completely resolved with a solution that worked for all involved. They were conscientious, polite and respectful. As a homeowner, it’s great to have a dependable electrician in my contacts list, whom I know will confidently fix the issues I may need them for, with honesty and integrity."

"I needed more outlets in the garage on dedicated circuits and to have the Breaker Panel redone. Chip and his team did an amazing job in a short period of time. Very Professional and the site was cleaned up so that it looked like they were never there. I recommend them to anyone who ask me about getting electrical work done ."

"Disappointing service, maybe they only care about large jobs. We reached out for an inspection and a quote for finishing a room to make it into a kitchen. Almost a month later we emailed them to ask for the quote only to receive a quote that was hastily put together, generic, and charging us for more work than we needed/were asking for. That already seemed scammy. I expressed my concerns and they said they would send it back to their tech and asked for pictures of any plans or blueprints - which they should have received initially from the tech who came out and took pictures of our room and our plans. They apologized, said they were told to put together a generic quote, and said they would work to get our quote updated. That was July 1st, two months ago, and we never heard from them again. Definitely not the service I was expecting after reading so many positive reviews. I even mentioned in one of my emails for them to please let us know if they were too busy for our job - that was ignored. When we called to set up the initial appointment, we were told to expect their master electrician. Someone else showed up, which is understandable, but did not have any of the PPE they said that they all wore inside every home - mask, gloves, shoe coverings, and the tech who showed up only got a mask when I requested it. I'm not sure what happened to the notes and pictures he took, the whole situation is shady and unprofessional. Can't say I would recommend them for anything."

"I have used Thomas & Sons now for two projects in two different homes, and they are consistently WONDERFUL. They communicate rapidly, and are willing to schedule by e-mail, which is so much more convenient for me. They are available soon, and always confirm the appointment. The first time they came, it was for an outdoor project which they completed in the pouring rain rather than leaving me without power and having to reschedule. This week they have installed new light fixtures in bedrooms - a long, messy and involved job. The two gentlemen who did this worked hard, fast, and were so conscientious about cleaning up and wanting to leave the place as though no one had been there. There were willing to work with non-standard parts, and just thoroughly pleasant. Additional bonus - unlike many companies, Thomas & Sons posts their prices on their website, and even gave me a discount for having more than one piece done at once. I love this company!"

"Chip Thomas of EF Thomas and Sons was our top choice after reviewing a total of 3 electricians who came out to our house and gave us a cost estimate. Chip was the only one who actually gave us a bid not an estimate and he completed the job on budget. Throughout his interactions with us he was very helpful informing us of options. He made it clear his goal was for us to be happy with the end results and we were. His lighting upgrade to our 2006 built house made it seem new with recessed lighting, all LED lights and changing out many old fixtures for modern. His team never left a mess and they got the job done in the time Chip had projected. Later we thought of some other a few additional upgrades we wanted and Chip was just as helpful, on time and on budget even though this was a much smaller piece of work for him. We would recommend him without reservation."
