"The level of incompetence this man possesses warrants him a reward. He is a dishonest hillbilly that uses dirty tactics to take advantage of families. I spoke to him for almost an entire month, and he told me to rush, assure that, etc. etc. etc. would be done. When I got in town and it was time for me to take my son’s clothes, he basically basically straight up just told my husband and I that you’re not getting his body Our agree. I am the type of person that I pay what I owe and some, if applicable. This interaction was dirtier than a mud puddle with an air of confusion he didn’t even realize until after about a couple of days that he wasn’t even discussing My son with me, it was a different person, so in other words, he had no idea who was who. Air on the side of caution when dealing with him, don’t be afraid to reach out to other To partner and work with them but if you’re accustomed to the Boondock McIntosh then of course by all means go for it I’m pretty sure you’ll feel comfortable with it. I’ve met mites with more decor. To summit up basically he healed my hunt, my son’s body hostage until He got whatever money he could and then he cremated him but we were supposed to have a funeral and we had to Cancel everything. Tread lightly with this one boys and girls. I will forever be disappointed and hurt by the way we were treated. Dementia is no joke."

"Darien Funeral Home has been in business over 50 years and it is a shame the funeral director never tried to update this funeral home over the course of 50+ years. Out dated cars, the workers uniforms are wrinkle, there is no music in the chapel, no TV to display pictures, the chapel is really old. Family members are doing their love ones hair. and dressing them., i through this was done by the funeral home staff. I can imagine what the machines looks like in back. Other funeral homes pay someone to do the decease hair. It seems to me he is cutting a lot of corners and have been for years and no one complained. Oh, you are correct where is the office? He should be ashamed of himself. What funeral home don't have an office? does he provide coffee and/water for the love one when they walk in to begin the funeral service arrangements (NO) I would never use this funeral home or recommend it to any one. This should be reported to The Directorate of Funeral Home in DC for inspection."
