"If you're visiting and looking for a dog friendly beach. This is it! My boy absolutely had the time of his life catching waves. Their is no policy on whether dogs have to be on a leash or not so he roamed free. I do advise to make sure your dog does have a sense of recall as we ran into some people with dogs who didn't want him saying "hi". The waves are also really calm. Beach is super clean. Just wished they had a station to rinse off the sand from your pup. Also bring fresh water for your pup!"
"Loved it. It's a natural preserve area in Delaware Bay. Quiet beach dog friendly, not crowded. The water is quieter and warmer than in the ocean but perhaps not as clean due to boats. I am very sorry we didn't bring our dog. I believe many residents go there trying to avoid busy beaches with visitors."
"Great day at the beach. Not to crowded and the dogs run free. Got to see the Cape May ferry come and go a few times. Get there early, not much parking."
"Hidden gem of a beach. Sand is a bit gravely and harder to walk on but still a beautiful place. Dogs are welcome, which is a catch 22 with people bringing dogs that should not be in public, but the rest of us can bring our fur babies that are well behaved with us to the beach. Definitely will visit again."
"I hesitate to review this place because it is such a lovely off the beaten path spot in Cape May! The beach is beautiful and secluded. The water is nice as the beach is located in the Delaware Bay side of the cape and typically the water is nice for swimming although keep in mind there are no lifeguards posted here. Also a nice spot for finding Cape May Diamonds!! It is a dog friendly beach! With dogs allowed it would be great for visitors to use some etiquette and common sense with their animals though, not everyone is a dog lover or wants your furry friend wandering around them unattended! But there are always going to be those people and by and large most people and their dogs are responsible!"
