"As US Marine Veteran and a first time home buyer my experience was not a pleasant one. Steven Pagan half heartedly assisted us in the attempt(s) of purchasing a home. He had us offering close to asking price on not one but two different properties that ended with low appraisals. He DID NOT provide us with any comps or a market analysis when making these offers to substantiate the price and advised us to pay closing costs. His guidance led the sellers to believe that there was money being left on the table when our appraisal did not meet contract price. His fall back was that the "VA appraisors were not qualified" or they were "knuckle heads." He was deceptive on numerous occassions and when confronted informed us that "WE" wouldn't be under contract if not for him. With out the us buyer's he would not have a contract or the prospect of a comission.When I informed him of the two thousand dollars I lost in appraisals and home inspections for two properties, he responded that he lost his 25k in commission. Steven Pagan fails to realize that had he led us to make reasonable offers we would still be working with him in searching for a home. However, he chose otherwise. Cant speak for the other agents but birds of a feather do flock together........the only good thing was he got us into properties within a reasonable amount of time."
