"My encounter with Joe was strictly accidental. The best accident ever! I was in the market to buy a fish tank but needed help with setup and maintanence questions. (Last time I had a fish tank was over 20yrs ago before I left for the Air Force. I know technology had changed). When I called aquatic start trying to find its location Joe answered, he informed me of location but services I needed store did not offer. Disappointed but not discouraged- Joe talked to me and guided me thru where to buy equipment I needed, the cost and why I needed certain things in order to have a healthy environment for my babies. Joe offered to come to my home, he became available every time I had a problem (ammonia spike-using tap after to clean off media HOB) or question or just advice on something I wanted to try. All most one year later, my 55 gallon tank began to leak, Joe to the rescue. Frantically I called Joe, he explain to me after several questions what the problem was how to prevent mistake happening again. How to move forward with not only a upgrade but where to get all that I needed at reasonable cost. Keep in mind all this had been over the phone. I have never met Joe in person but, believe me when I say he is a kind patience informative humble Genius. Currently, my 75 gallon tank is crystal clear with eight juvenile red belly pirhanas, one 2 inch armored pleco with plants. This review I wrote after looking online for a aquarium store near Delaware, hopefully my future residence. I came across the store reviews. Needing to co-sign on the greatness of JOE and his expertise. Aquatic Start has an asset that catapults it’s business to one of the best in the aquatic world- Joe. Joe knows!!!"

"The fish tank I inherited from an old coworker, was becoming a bit much to maintain and even though I tried my hardest. So to make sure I didn't kill the fish (she kept them alive for 4 years), I decided to hire a professional. Upon searching, Aquatic Start had great reviews, friendly and helpful on the phone and was able to come out super quick. When he arrived, he was knowledgeable and recommended some items. He doesn't sell any product, but was nice enough to go around to the fish store and pick up a new filter and such. In the end, fish tank looks much better. fish are a little upset, but should acclimate quickly."

"Joe and Josh helped me move two 400 gallon aquaponic tanks, and they were professionals through and through. Joe had great insight into potential upgrades for my equipment, and was able to stick out the move with me for 10 hours. Halfway through the day, my car broke down and Josh was super accommodating. He let me ride with him, stayed with me while we figured out the tow, and drove me back to the car when the tow arrived. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough.
