A children's class let out and the parents are using this space as their social hour, shouting even louder than the kids that they're allowing to run around aimlessly. How rude and inconsiderate. I asked at the front desk if something could be said and he recommended I go to another library. Absolutely mind boggling. So much for common sense and manners."

"I don’t like to complain or to be this person, but I was honestly sadly disappointed with my experience here the other day. Me and my boyfriend brought his son to our local library because we were told by multiple people that there were several different resources, vouchers, and services provided by the Blackwood library. We were told that if we wanted to access these resources, to talk to the librarians for more information. When we walked in, there was about two or three women circulating the front desk. Me and my boyfriend were checking out the sign of upcoming events they had upfront, and one of the women told us, if we needed any help, to come to the desk. My boyfriend politely told her we were looking at the sign. That was the only interaction I witnessed, that was meant to be helpful. We went to explore the children’s section and took my boyfriend’s very excited child to check out all the things the library had to offer. It was very clean, organized and inviting for children. I thought the play area was very cute and well kept. As for the books, they were a little dated and I couldn’t really find books that were catching my boyfriend’s sons interest. I am a preschool teacher and I read to his son all the time, so I was surprised he wasn’t interested in any of the books. During this whole time of us exploring the children’s section of the library, no one helped us or gave us any information. The library had all of maybe 4-5 people in total in it, so it was not busy by any means. My boyfriend registered for a library card and he told me the staff were not friendly and very unhelpful when he was asking questions about what they had to offer for him and his son. I also went up to ask one of the librarians a question about what the PIN number would be for the computers and she seemed annoyed and mumbled an answer I could barely understand. We honestly felt pretty uncomfortable the whole time and were very confused about the energy of the staff there. We were quiet, respectful, and obedient of the library while we were there and we felt like we were not welcome. This is the same library my mother used to take me to as a child to do my book reports and check out books all the time, so it was very disappointing leaving the library with such a negative vibe. We honestly will probably just try to register somewhere because of how uncomfortable we felt."

"Everyone at this location are very professional, helpful, and extremely nice. The manager Sarah and also Diana took their time to help me with something that was very important to me and walked me through the steps needed to get it done correctly. Very welcoming personalities and always smiling. I also was introduced to Bobbi who was very friendly and helpful. Thank you Jackie, who referred me to Sarah today, because she had the day off. It's nice to know that people are around to help you no matter what it may be and also so caring for their members here. I hope upper management will see and read this and recognize everyone in some way for the pride they take in their jobs. Thank you, Vincent"
