"One of the oldest and smallest nature preserves in New Jersey. Often completely flooded in the wet season. The short walking trail is usually passable in the dry season."
"In the dryness of August, a morning hike through the bogs produced a number of flowering native plant species. Great little preserve. I'm hoping to visit at some other times of the year, also."

"Well, maybe it's different in another season but there wasn't much here. We expected a trail or little boardwalk but the flooded parking lot was it. We did see a nesting dock, frogs, and a stork. But the mosquitoes far outnumbered the viewable wildlife."
