"The museum is a hidden gem in Cape May! Itโs an invitation to enjoy the fabulous works of various artists and a cultural experience for everyone. A must-see!"
"We stopped by this gallery today on a whim while visiting Cape May's downtown area. It's a free will donation to enter, and they preferred cash but are able to accommodate card. The gentleman working was very nice and informative. It's a small gallery, but they have a lot of artwork in that space. A lot of it was extremely thought provoking, combining images that wouldn't normally go together to give you pause. Worth checking out if you have a bit of time."
"Great collection of contemporary art by local artists. Make sure to ask for the story about Conwell the monkey! This place is a hidden gem making art accessible in Cape May."
"We discovered this charming museum while wandering through Cape May. We saw the sign outside that admission was by donation, so we thought we'd go in to see what was there. We were greeted by Mark, who is actually incredibly attentive and extremely interesting. He told us the story of Congo, the chimp, and spent a great deal of time giving us the history of the museum and showing pictures of Congo and his artwork. We were free to view the art on our own. This museum was different for us, but we really enjoyed our visit. Highly recommend taking some time to enlighten yourself. Very pleasurable visit."
"As an artist, I love all kinds of art! The curator Mark was excited to share all his knowledge about this hidden gem of thought provoking art. The layout is designed to improve our mind and how we view the world and itโs simple and complicated journey in earth school. It is off the path of shops down a little alleyway. My husband and I discovered it by accident. We were drawn into it by the different posters on the windows, but what we found inside was a new friend and stimulating art. As Cape May is known for its diamonds, this would be one of those gems which last lifetimes! Highly recommended."
