"Avalex Renovations just completed a major renovation on our beach house in Ocean City, NJ. We had planned to only renovate the kitchen, but after seeing the work they had done in a nearby home, we decided to have both bathrooms renovated as well. I cannot say enough about what a great experience it has been working with Gary from Avalex. We were impressed with him right from the start when we were getting estimates because he was the only contractor who gave us a fresh idea for renovating our kitchen, something we would not have even thought to do. To give you an idea of the scope of the project, the kitchen was completely gutted and restructured, extending the countertops the length of the wall and adding a huge island in the center of the kitchen. Both bathrooms were completely gutted as well. Working with Gary was such a pleasure as he took the time we needed to discuss the details and work with us on every facet of the design. He listened to our needs and wants, was honest about what we could and couldn’t do, in terms of both design and construction. He provided direction on where to find fixtures, appliances and other materials we needed to select. He was patient with us and very responsive when we contacted him about anything. He gave opinions when asked and we completely trusted his judgement. And we were not disappointed! The finished product exceeded all expectations! It is like we have purchased a brand new home!
