nj affordable commercial roofing

"I wish I came to read the reviews on Google prior to doing business with this guy/business. He recently (2 days ago) worked on my roof and it's supposed to come with 7 year warranty (he said the first time) and the 2nd time we met, he said 12 years warranty.... Either way, I had already gave him half payment so I allowed him to finish the Job. In the middle of the job, he Michael Ely claimed that there were some more spots he needs to fill and he would need an extra $900....(at this point, I felt like maybe he was trying to swindle me but at the same time, I thought maybe he was really trying to help... At first, I said No...and then he said just give him $400 and he'll do it since he's already working on it. I agreed. He did the work. I paid him and he left. On my way to my office, I realized a few things. - The chair he used to stand on to climb to my roof was not returned to where he got it from. - The planks covering the ceiling leading to the roof was left on the floor and not returned. - He was supposed to send me an updated invoice for the additional $400 and I never received it. I called him and at first, he tried to claim that my email wasn't sent to him (which I sent twice) and then he's like she's going to send it....Don't worry. Didn't receive it.... This is two days after the work has been completed and still no invoice (which I need to show the landlord the work was done in order for me to get Credit on my rent). The invoice he did send me for the prior agreed amount has the name "GLOBAL ROOFING" which I couldn't find anywhere on google after the fact... And although it's still fresh I can only assume the work he did on the roof is probably bogus (which I won't be able to tell the effectiveness until it rains again). I'm not certain if this is a SCAM or he's just SWINDLING Small Business Owners....but something is ABSOLUTELY OFF about this Guy. and I wouldn't trust any of his words...."

"Potential Customers Beware!! We took legal actions against this firm and hired another firm to repair our roof. This guy is bad news and definitely not honest! We hired this firm NJ Affordable Commercial Roofing to fix leaks on the flat roof of our building. We paid the company several thousand dollars for a job that they guaranteed for 12 years. After the first rain the building had more leaks than before. We made several calls to Michael Ely the owner to fix the leaks but he never came back."
