"You will not get help if your a us citizen that has payed your taxes your whole life until you jump through so many loops your better off walking in here with no id and speak no English"
"Told for weeks that we would receive our benefits… and that it was just a matter of an “agent getting around to our case” but just now have been notified it’s because they didn’t send out our recertification form to reapply… How is that something they forget? Now we have to pay out of pocket until we go through the recertification process… we have a baby! They have already been sued by the federal government for issues which would have left 700,000 Americans without food… think about how many malnourished children that is… so sad…"
"This place is a joke! They should have never closed the Bridgeton office! This building has heavy caseloads! You aren’t even assigned to one worker anymore which means ya paperwork goes thru so many hands and then they wonder why papers are misplaced or “they didn’t receive” something! Won’t help me at all single parent home but claims I gross too much! Gross isn’t what I bring HOME! Won’t help tax payers but will give lazy ppl $1800 stamps! Beyond me"
"Actually it wasn’t bad. It was 3:20pm. Didn’t have to wait long. All my questions were answered politely. I couldn’t believe the oder that resonating in the room. It actually smelled like an animal died or trash that was left to ferment for months. Gross, that’s the only complaint I had."
"They made an appointment with me for 12-3pm and stated that if i missed the appointment, it would delay my application. They called at 8 am twice. I called them at 10 am and explained the situation to them and that my appointment was not until 12 pm to 3 pm. They said they count that as missing the appointment and my application is delayed for a letter to come again. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and they just hung up on me. I called back and asked for the case workers name, and they won't give that out or give her a note. I called back at least a dozen times, and no one is helping. This is why people lose faith in government institutions. They can't even honor their own appointment time. This is where our tax dollars go. If this was any other business, they would be out of business treating people like this."
