"I remember when this church was Lamb's Road. The atmosphere was welcoming and I enjoyed worship events and outreach programs. My cousin got married there and the service was heartfelt and beautiful. Now, as we prepare for her funeral, her husband and father returned there to remember the day and the excitement of their wedding. They asked to have the funeral there as it holds a special place in all of our hearts. Originally, they were told that this would be possible. My cousin was well known in the community for her children songs, participation in out reach events and her devotion to worship. Imagine our heartbreak at the news that this site will not accommodate her funeral. They state that this is because they don't allow their building to be used for events that are not church related. We are not asking to use their building for free or even on a whim. This was going to be used to honor her memories of this specific church. A place that once felt safe and special to her. A place where she stood on stage and made a vow, a place where she prayed, a place where she sang, and a place that once brought her great joy. It is heartbreaking that this church is not for fellowship or to support a community any longer. It absolutely baffles me that a place that professes to restore hope, to empower, and to find purpose is turning their back on a family while they prepare to grieve the loss of a young mother whose life was dedicated to serving those around her. This "church," is not Christ like. Jesus would have surrounded this family with love and would have reached out to be of service to the small children who will be grieving their mother, regardless of their affiliation. A church that actually practices what they profess on Sundays and Wednesdays would welcome those that are hurting in such a difficult time (and not just for profit). There are many churches in the area who will open their doors to host this tragic event and we are thankful, though we acknowledge that she would have preferred to be remembered in this place. Now this building is no longer a source of comfort but a house with a congregation that is undeserving of loyalty or tithes."

"Beautiful church with a warm, welcoming congregation! Pastor Mike is a wonderful Pastor who speaks the truth. He delivers spirit led sermons that help you grow daily in your walk with Christ. There are opportunities for prayer and healing throughout the service. I have been so blessed by this church and the prayer warriors here. I recently had to relocate out of state but I still come back to visit every chance I get. If you get the chance, check them out! You will be welcome and uplifted!"
