"This museum is just fine. It’s honestly very small and there’s not really a whole lot to it. The exhibits they do have are alright, the information is interesting and the facility is clean. Staff if friendly but was hoping for a bit more. Good way to kill an hour if you’re bored and never been. No need to go here more than once."
"great place as a veteran or family member to go. John and his staff were nice enough to allow me to host a 32 year Desert Storm reunion here, it was therapeutic and joyful.. Thanks guys!"
"Worth the Effort. Yes - the museum is on base, but access is not an issue. And the Base Visitor's Center team is BY FAR the most helpful group I've ever dealt with when gaining access to an installation. Now for the museum... GREAT experience and quite a bit packed into a smaller building. Make a visit part of your travel plan."
"Not a huge museum, About 5 galleries. However the galleries have very well presented exhibits with lots of very detailed and interesting history of the 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. The gallery with the small theater had some Extremely detailed and well presented models Of the tanks that attacked Baghdad Admission is free but donations are welcome and can be placed in a clear Box and the lobby."
"Very interesting place to learn about the 3rd infantry division. It’s also open on the first Saturday of each month. The shop is open Tuesday through Thursday 10 am to 3 pm."
