"I was driving from Florida back home to Augusta and drove through this county on a Sunday afternoon. Three different speed traps were set up on the main highway and many people were speeding this afternoon. I got pulled over by officer John Meacham III and he gave me an arbitrary number which was “proven by the radar” followed by a $200 ticket plus service fee. I know Covid has been rough on everyone so I hope you all make the most of it. Of course no one is going to show up to a court date hours away from where they’re from just for the possibility of decreasing the fee. Just felt like posting this since I was one of the unfortunate people who got singled out while on the road."
