"I would give this place more stars if i could. Mrs. Akilah Johnson-Greene was so professional and polite in helping me through the processes. I cannot say enough good things about her, she was thorough and kind, i rarely have such experiences like that now a days."
"I would give this place negative stars if I could. When a mandatory reporting is made and nothing is done a week later so you call them and get bounced around from person to person. The people who actually answer the phone have no info and transfer you to people whos mailbox is full so you can't even leave a message. Is there anyone working there who is able to help the children?"
"If I could give no stars I would. Nobody there knows how to answer a phone. I have had to drive the hour there several times just to be told to call back another day and when I call back every hour no one answers. I've been trying for months just to get a simple answer."
"My son was abused very badly by his dad, took him to the hospital and reported it to the Bryan County, Ga police department and pretty much neither one of y’all did anything. My son was scared and y’all let him go back with his dad that abused him till his bottom and legs were bleeding and never took the child out of his care or never arrested him for child abuse. Very sad that the Dad continues to treat him badly now that he isn’t being investigated anymore. It won’t be good when I get a call stating that my son is dead because y’all let my son stay with his dad that continues to abuse him. Y’all were suppose to contact me to let me know what was going on and never heard anything which doesn’t surprise me with y’all."
"I came here the other day to update my information as their system wouldn't allow me to online for some reason. Even though this isn't my first time updating my information. They then told me they don't take certain things into consideration like what you owe on a vehicle even though it's on every application online. Cellphone as well as renters insurance. Makes me kind of frustrated that they do it way differently down south unlike what they do north where they do take everything into considering. A bill is a bill especially when we rely on it. My paycheck this month has gone down almost 300$ and my bills are piling up and had to resort to using my credit card which now is maxed out. I can say with the electric being high cause of the summer rates it's hard for me to keep up. Plus being a single mom is even harder especially when the father isn't in their lives or contributing to anything. So after being told this they also tell me my pay stubs the new ones won't change anything. I didn't understand how difficult it was to update information until I started using their assistance program in this state. I seriously give up trying with it and will continue to struggle and figure it out on my own. Reason for the one star lack of explanation why they didn't take anything into consideration and a slight attitude when asking certain questions plus completely felt like I was on the stand when she wouldn't accept the bills and questioned how I'm getting by every month. That is up for my case worker and I to discuss not the front desk. I actually sat in my car and cried because I don't know what to do from there or how I would feed my son without struggling but I will get through it the best I can."
