"At the start of this home remodel, I did not think I would have to leave this review. $22K later and the end of the job was horrible! While Odes and his crew were extremely nice and seemed to be working hard, the longer the project took, the more the flaws of the work started to show. We had new drywall installed, new carpets, new windows, bathroom shower tile, powder room completely gutted and new fixtures installed along with a new wood floor, new banister, etc. As the job went on, each day we would tell him our concerns and Odes would assure us that when the job was completed all of this would be fixed and he would not leave until we were satisfied. We just reached out to Odes and asked him if the carpet on our stairs could be replaced as the install looks absolutely horrendous! It is the first thing people see when they walk into my home. For some reason, the crew decided to install the carpet with no padding under the steps, then paint the trim after the carpet was put down. As we are walking down the stairs now, the carpet is now starting to slide, there are visible staples under the lip of each step and paint on each step along each side!! The carpet is fraying on each step and after the amount of money we paid we never expected Odes to tell us he would not replace the carpet. We were told that every stair well looks like that as the frayed edges begins to rub the trim. That makes absolutely no sense!! The trim should have been painted before the carpet install so that my brown carpet does now have white paint all over it. We also asked that if he would not replace the carpet, that he refund us a portion of the cost to have a company do it that would do it correctly and of course he refused. Pictures are posted of the end result and they really do not do the damage justice. There are so many visible seams as well that we were assured would not be there when the job was completed. The paint job on the trim also looks like a child did it. We just cannot believe that after all this money we spent and the trust we put into Odes and his company, this is what we have to look at a every day."
