"This is an amazing little museum that is literally packed with as much firefighter relics they could find or have donated from years past. We stopped during the week only because we saw the door open, but we were told Saturday 12-4 someone is usually there to allow you access. Most of the firetrucks are independently owned and some are still being restored so you can view them in varying stages of the process. This is a museum so no climbing on the trucks or touching the artifacts, but my 5+yo kids enjoyed seeing all the items. May be difficult with small children. I was also super impressed that they actually had an iron lung machine (1920-50's) often used in polio treatment. I have never seen one in person before. If you're in healthcare what an interesting find!! Not wheelchair accessible due to narrow walkways and stairs to second floor. Parking free and next to building. No tickets. Self guided tour mostly, and takes approximately 30min."
