"The good reviews of this doctor compared to my experience with him makes it seem like I encountered a totally different person than they did when I came to him for help. If I could give 0 stars for my experience with Dr. Vincent Disabella I would. Out of my 30 minute appointment time, he spent approximately 2 minutes directly addressing me and my pain. The rest of my encounter with this man included listening to him incessantly brag about himself, his money + investments, his friend group dynamic from back in high school (he is a 59 year old man), and all about the hunting properties he has access to from his wealthy and successful friends. On top of this, he was extremely dismissive of my pain - anytime it was brought up by myself or my mother who accompanied me to my appointment, the conversation was instead redirected to HIM and HIS PAIN. The conversation literally shifted to how he tore a muscle in his abdomen, the pain he is in, and how he's trying to put off surgery. Or his wrestling career in college. Or how he doesn't require pain relief for a root canal. How he owns a cross-fit gym and all of the renowned surgeons he trained in residency. I do not care. I just want to know why I'm in pain, and still in pain, while being in physical therapy for the past 6 months. Leaving this appointment left me even more confused about why I've been in excruciating pain for the last 7 months leaving me completely unable to return to work or my schooling. This man's behavior as a doctor is completely inappropriate and inexcusable. No human so arrogant, apathetic, and self-absorbed should be in such a position of power within medicine and healthcare. I warn fellow women, as well as those without injuries/pain from worker's comp or a personal injury lawsuit, to avoid this doctor at all costs. His solution to my chronic and excruciating pain were 6 simple stretches. Which, by the way, have amplified my pain by so much. Save your time, money, and energy by going to a different doctor."
