"I was informed that my equity line of credit was expiring and I needed to re-apply to keep the equity opened. I filled out all the paperwork and waited. After several weeks with no response, I inquired with the representative. No action had been taken. Six months later, with multiple requests for information from TD Bank, (all supplied within a day or so), I got the news that we had been declined. I had to make about six phone calls, escalated the calls to supervisors before I finally got a call back. The “legendary service “ claim in the phone voicemail is a hoax. I know the value of my home has increased over 30% since my purchase, my mortgage to value ratio is about 50%, so not sure how the decision was arrived at. I am disappointed that the line was denied, but grateful as the Digital Credit Union will extend the line for me. I do not recommend this bank for any service. It was dismal when I lived in Massachusetts, and is getting worse as time goes on. The only reason I keep a checking account with them is because my kids have accounts and we are linked together to transfer money between us."

"Be Great if Google can have ZERO Star as the poorest rating: On Early September I went to TD Bank to apply for a HELOC for my two units condo - the property type was rare, therefore I emphasized more than 10 times at the bank, just to confirm that TD was able to that - no one said that was a problem at front desk, not from the loan processor (Diana Harmer - super slow and only replying emails on Friday afternoons) and not even from her manager Heather Kearney. The appraisal should have been scheduled as soon as I started the application, but it did not happen until a month later on 10.8. Again, nobody said anything about this rare property type during this entire procedure. Soon after the appraisal was done on 10.12, after I sent a follow up email to Heather, I was told that they were unable to do multi unit condos, which, as professionals, should have found the case upon application started!!! Immediately following that, a denial letter was sent to my inbox which was faster than any other emails replies I got from TD. Such unprofessional and waste of time!"
