"The slim, Spanish guard at check-in is nice. The young, black nurse who took my vitals was also nice. That's where the customer service ended. Everyone I dealt with after those two seemed agitated to be working the jobs they chose. The nurse who took my vitals and history was short-tempered and snarky, cutting me off before I completed sentences. She was the worst. The NP and doctor weren't too ill mannered, but definitely impatient for there to have been less than 4 people in the ER. My discharge papers state they gave me no treatment when they absolutely gave me two of the most painful shots I ever had in my life. So, yeah... poor customer service, poor bedside manner, and lacks attention to detail."
"Took 4 and a half hours just to get 5 stitches, and there was only one doctor. Deborah needs to staff there emergency room better. They didn’t even check on the cut for about 3 hours of us being there. Would not recommend."
"You say these messages are to help you improve your you can’t improve unless you get rid of lazy grumpy nurses/doctors. They act like we the people need them. When in fact the doctors need us as patients. I went in for anxiety and they ran a whole blood panel. I had inference and they didn’t run it so now I’m stuck with a 2000 bill that I am NOT Paying back. If you go to a restaurant and it’s extremely horrible, do you pay? Because I sure don’t. I talk to the manager and get a new plate or leave. Furthermore I have panic disorder and post with sleep paralysis. What do they do? They treat me like a drug addict. I’ve need to Iraq and Afghanistan and this is how they treat your patients. Same one you To the whole staff because we all know $h!t rolls down hill So it starts at the top. Your workers are a reflection of you supervisors and managers."
"Went In this morning with chest pain and a racing heart. I was so scared because I had an ablation for svt last April so I do have heart issues. I was so afraid that I was dying of a heart attack. They got me in immediately and the doctor was so kind and explained and showed me everything. At first I was a little upset because I didn’t realize they were separate from Deborah and all my medical stuff is there. But the nurses and doctors and all of the staff were fast and caring. The doctor stood in the room talking to me longer than any doctor ever has. Probably the best emergency dept I’ve ever been to. I also have to say they’re very educated as far as mental health issues. I have severe anxiety and panic attacks and they took their time to talk with me about that as well. They were seriously the sweetest most kind and caring people I’ve ever met in my whole life. So although I accidentally went to the wrong place it was a happy accident. Thank you for taking care of me and treating me like a person."
"My daughter came in tonight and I could not have had a better experience! The staff was very attentive and kind to her. She was super scared and the nurse went above and beyond. She treated my daughter as if she were hers. She even saved part of her dinner to give to my daughter because she was hungry and due to testing was not allowed to eat! She gave my daughter a stuffed animal and truly was amazing. The other staff was super as well. The doctor explained items in mom terms so I knew what was happening. The staff who took her for a Cat scan was so kind- they explained everything to her and put her at ease. They took a scared mom and daughter and made us feel like we were with family! I am forever grateful!"
