"I just want to truly thank the nurses who worked with my family. It was a shock to have my father have to be put on hospice but I mean everything by saying that the nurses we had for the 2 days and especially my dad’s night nurse was just amazing. It was and is still difficult but having them just there and answer any questions we had or helping us was just easing in a way I can’t put into words but very dear to my heart. It’s a difficult time to any family and to have such special hearted people help you just helps a lot. It takes big hearts to do what they do. I just hope they truly know how special they all are. Thank you so very much, from a loving daughter who never felt alone."

I came across a note from a lady who worked with my mother from Samaritan and she told me in the note that my mother was so proud of me. "My mother passed away May 30, 2022 during her stay. I can’t thank the nurses and doctors for their continued support, compassion, and love given to her during her transition. They not only helped us understand the process, but answered each and every question we had no matter the time of day/night. Each of my moms nurses touched us in a way that even though my mom, Connie, passed they made it a little bit easier for us. Braiding her hair and always making sure her stuffed animals were laid next to her just showed us we made the right decision. They always made sure my mom was comfortable and stress free. To have nurses speak with you on a first name basis made it feel like family as they were taking this journey with us. My heart was filled with love while it was breaking. I can never thank each of you enough for the love and care you provided my mom. I have the utmost respect for each of you for doing this everyday.
