"I have been seeing Dr. Zhou for a little over one year now. He was able to successfully replace my spinal cord stimulator. He is compassionate, knowledgeable, and a great surgeon. Dr. Zhou’s staff are very friendly and able to work with you to get appointments asap. He not only helped me with my stimulator, but he was also able to alleviate my knee pain, which I have suffered with for 14 years. I am very grateful for finding this doctor and will continue to call on him for my pain management!!! From the bottom of my heart, thank you Dr. Zhou Michele A."
"I would highly recommend Dr. Zhou. On two separate instances Dr. Zhou diagnosed the problem that I was having when many other doctors (ER docs, urologists and general surgeons) were unable to even with CT scans and MRI’s. His diagnoses led to surgical corrections that put an end to my pain and I am incredible grateful to him. Without his help and insight I fear my problems would not have been solved."
"I am beyond happy with Dr Zhou He is compassionate and genuinely cares for my well-being. Nice to have a Dr that isn't pushing opioids cause that's not the answer to my issues. Trying trigger point injections in my neck and shoulders and some aquatic therapy with the possibility of an epidural for my lower back and hip pains. He went through my MRI explaining that my spine is not the issue. Hopeful therapy and injections will do the trick I would recommend Dr Zhou for your pain management needs"
"I went to this shyster 5 years ago for pain management. Had to leave because my new medicare plan didn’t have him in their system. I had to go to another pain management doc. Well after 5 years with the new docs, I had to leave for the same reason. As of January 1st, they didn’t accept my medicare insurance. So, I thought I’d go back to this guy since I went to him before and now he did take my new insurance. When he came into the exam room, he was very rude. Didn’t offer to shake my hand. He just sat down and the first thing he said to me was that he won’t prescribe me any narcotics. Yet on his forms I had to fill out and sign, stating that he does prescribe narcotics if needed. I wasn’t there for that but he was so rude and ignorant to me!! He asked me what do I want from him because he said AGAIN, no narcotics!! AGAIN, I told him I’m only there to be out of pain! I must tell you, he’s extremely rude, can’t hardly speak English!! I had a very hard time understanding him and I had to say politely, I couldn’t understand him, please repeat. He was mumbling something about what do I want him to do!! Again, I said get me out of pain. I told him that 5 years ago I had a big spinal surgery for 18 hours in the O.R. He didn’t seem to care. I showed him the pictures of my surgery. He didn’t seem interested. Again, he said no narcotics!! I said why do you keep saying that ? What can you do for me ? He mumbled something again that I couldn’t understand with his very heavy accent. So I said that I had my surgeons office send him my record's two weeks ago. What did he think? He said he didn’t have any time to look at them two weeks before my appointment with him!!! He said he had hundreds of patients this week and didn’t have time?!!! OMG, seriously ??? He had to be the most ignorant, rude uncaring “doctor”… and I use that term lightly, that I’ve ever had to deal with!! So he leaned forwards to me and mumbled something I couldn’t understand, and I said that I don’t want to be his patient. I’m warning anyone who might want to have him for their doc. Find someone else because he’s a liar on top of everything else!! He should have his license revoked!!! I left out a few other details but I’m sure he get the picture. I bet he doesn’t have one tenth the amount of patients that he professes to have."
"I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis approximately 10 years ago, which was just a couple years removed from a serious car accident that broke my femur and shattered my pelvis. I had been to a couple of different doctors in an effort to at least dull the pain or have some relief and was unsuccessful up until I became a patient of Dr. Zhou’s many years ago. Over the last seven or eight years I have had several different and quite painful issues and or conditions; some being a direct result of my progressing MS and others, having to do with old injuries, or from just simply getting older! No matter what issue or pain I have Dr. Zhou has a remedy along with helpful medical info as to the reason why the pain is present and what he plans on doing to help get you relief. He has always been more than willing to share with me how to treat these aches and pains, his past success with other patients with similar conditions that he treated and any questions I may have. He always seems to know exactly what to do to get some relief!!! He not only has helped me navigate a plan of action in dealing with what is a debilitating disease but he makes sure he explains thoroughly what his thoughts are in regards to the pain as well as why he is choosing the type of treatment he feels will work best. He puts your mind at ease when you have doubts or concerns and he has even invited me into other waiting rooms to speak with patients who he has treated in a similar fashion ! You can not ask for or expect anything more from a doctor with a busy practice and patients waiting to be seen ! He has never once made me feel rushed and quite often we finish up the visit talking about my family and personal life. You can see he also worries about the mental state of a patient who has been dealing with pain and may be struggling mentally or emotionally…… Dr.Zhou works hard at complementing his patients while ensuring them that things will get better if you trust him, trust the treatment plan, and do what he tells you. I have never once felt anything but compassion from Dr. Zhou. I am fairly confident the folks that left any kind of negative comments here are simply the type of people that find the bad in a good situation or person and cannot be pleased. Side note - all of his office staff is top notch as well and always have a smile and a warm conversation . Jason B."
