"She was my parents' doctor for years and then also mine and my sibling's when we grew up. If you are going for a basic physical or a normal illness like a cold, or ear infection she's pretty okay. However, in recent years the staff has gone down hill and started writing off many things during my visits and stopped recommending specialists for anything out of their range. I've seen a nurse guestimate my weight and height multiple times. A few times I was told that they can't and haven't ever given recommendations even though I still have the print out they gave me years ago for my records. Over the past year I have been developing some pretty severe chronic symptoms. During my visits I am cut off while listing my symptoms, and many symptoms have been written off as probably just being my period even when they happen when I'm weeks away from my period. Every time I went for this problem I am given the same test as the previous time. It was only after crying about the symptoms and saying that I was going to switch to a specialis, and feeling like I should go to emergency care because of how bad it was getting that they prescribed testing beyond blood work and peeing in a cup. When I went to the scheduled test I was told that Thomas's staff never contacted my insurance to clear the test, so had to reschedule for almost a week later."

"My biggest issues are with her staff. Although lately (past 4 years) I've noticed a general decline in the office as a whole, doctor included. Had her for years. When I was younger she was my parents doctor and they claimed they liked her. I don't know what changed, but she doesn't talk with me openly. She writes off symptoms and both her and her staff talk over me and my family members when we go. Her nurses have been insulting when it comes to eating disorder symptoms and weight. They marked down my reason for visiting incorrectly, and even admitted to assuming I was visiting for the same reasons as a relative, dispite having called, explained, and had them repeat my reasons for scheduling with them. They scheduled for a CT scan for said relative and never contacted insurance after agreeing to do so. I've had multiple MAJOR health events in my family and we've gone in with clear symptoms and had the signs written off or missed, but other doctors we'd visit caught them easily. They've refused to even consider certain possiblies and did not explain why or respond when prompted. Perhaps they're simply no longer allowed to be helpful without a Specialist, but frankly I don't care anymore. I have a doctor so I can deal with health issues. One positive note: Dr. Thomas is absolutely amazing at taking blood. I barely felt the needle at ALL and she handled small talk well during the sample. I generally enjoy dealing with her, but not for any actually medical problem."
