"We recently had a deeply disappointing experience with the medical offices of Dr. Sonia Deora at Garden State Physicians, located at 10 Jefferson Plaza Ste 100, Princeton, NJ. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this establishment prioritizes financial gain over patient care. Despite being prompt to take my money, the staff showed a complete lack of professional courtesy. After our initial consultation and tests, I expected a timely follow-up to discuss my results. However, multiple calls and messages went unanswered. The office's reluctance to communicate and their disregard for patient concerns is not only frustrating but entirely unprofessional. It has been over five weeks and we still have not received my wife's test results nor have we received a call from the doctor's office despite repeated calls. Such behavior not only undermines trust but also raises serious concerns about the overall quality of care provided. It is clear that Dr. Deora's team needs a significant overhaul in their approach to patient interaction and communication. Given this experience, I will be filing a formal complaint with the NJ Department of Health and the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs. The lack of professionalism and basic decency displayed by Dr. Deora's staff is something that should be formally addressed to prevent other patients from enduring similar treatment. I strongly advise anyone considering this practice to seek medical care elsewhere. There are many other professionals who understand that patient care is about compassion, communication, and respect – qualities that are severely lacking at Garden State Physicians."
"I don’t even want to rate them. 0 out of 5. Lack of professionalism. I brought them the lunch last week because I was scheduled for lunch meeting. Dr. Deora was not there. Dr. Mendu asked me to come back the following week and I don’t need any appointments. So today when I walked in, manger told me she is very busy she might not see me. I told her I cancelled my appointments just to see her for 2 mins. She said doctor is hungry and cranky. And I should come some other time. I requested her to let me see the doctor. When doctor came out, she went straight to her office and refused to talk to me. I drive 45 mins just for her 2 mins. FYI I only went because I was asked to stop by on Wednesday at any time by Dr. Mendu and her front desk girl. Very disappointed. Don’t come here. They don’t value your time."
"I'm going to echo all of the other negative reviews here as I've the same experience. Trying to get a person on the phone reaching this office for appointments, dealing with any issues you have with your medication, paying for your bills, and getting details on your visit is a giant battle and headache. The issue I have is from a year ago. I was told to come in for a physical while pregnant. I told the office that I was pregnant, but they insisted I come in for one. Dr. Deora saw me and said that she could not do a physical due to my pregnancy. No service was completed. Over a year later, I'm now told they billed me for a consultation because I requested a refill of my medication. The medication was refilled before my visit even occurred. Even my insurance company had an issue getting into contact with them to dispute a bill. It took me ALMOST A YEAR to finally get somebody to talk with me about my appointment and dispute of the bill. AFTER I wrote a written note to them. I spoke with an office person, Shri, and all the conversation felt like was her pointing fingers on how I was dialing their number incorrectly and why I never reached someone about my issue. It's one number. This is not the patient's fault they utilize a system for phone calls and the separate departments don't communicate with each other for patient issues. One department does not communicate with the other. Shri even told me that someone had written my number incorrectly when I left a voicemail. That's the icing on the cake for me. The communication within the office and patients lacking, trying to schedule an appointment takes forever, waiting for an appointment is ridiculous, and the front office people confuses you about your reason for a visit. Do not come here."
"Reached out to Dr Deora's office to get an appointment for my dad. I had received the details from the First Health Network as a doctor which was in their network and accepted insurance. After a lengthy call explaining the reason for visit and fixing an appointment, they passed me to the insurance person. They informed me that they do not accept this insurance, will cancel my appointment and hurriedly disconnected. What is the point of having your account listed with an insurance if you will not accept it. Wasted my time and was denied service"
